we should also look for a place where we can get some photo's in. I'm gonna bring my Nikon slr's and lenses with me so may as will to a group shoot.
Huh? Your in the list already lol...
smh long day a work hahahah
I've been needing to chime in this thread. When I was doing strictly CD Accord meets, we use to have summer meets in Pismo. We thought that was a nice meeting point for the guys from the bay and those from SoCal. In addition to that, it had nice places to stay, outlets for those with girlfriends, horseback riding, ATV's, and we could park on the actual beach. Below are bullet points to links that will direct you to the appropriate information that was put together for the meet when we did have it.

- Caravan Information from NorCal

A picture of some of the cars on the actual sand making for picturesque photos.

If you guys are up for it, I'm sure C.A.M. would be glad to pay half, if not all, of that cost. 45 People sounds very reasonable. I'm just unsure if you would all like for this to just be a 3geez exclusive type of get together, because if so, I wouldn't want to infringe.
lol I would never diver my car on the sand at pismo. Don't get me wrong pismo is great place just not for a Honda meet. if were take trucks ill have homies come out and ill be ridding in this. lol

The beach is cool too. It's only like 10 minutes from SLO. Also, I don't know about anyone else, but I wouldn't be opposed to opening it to other generations. Here is the link to the regional park in SLO: http://www.slocountyparks.com/activities/el_chorro.htm. They also have camping there if anyone doesn't want to drive back at night (much cheaper than a motel) Pismo does also.
I would not take my car on the sand...so the beach can be crossed off unless its on the parking lot. i just dont think hondas look good on the sand. from the looks of the pic there are more trucks and not alot of accords. I'm actually gonna be leaving the same day but at a later time when the meet ends would be a good drive back with no traffic. 4 hours aint a problem for me since i would drive from torrance to Palm desert and its about the same time, maybe more. If you guys wanna go on the sand thats fine with me :) but my car will stay on asphalt lol. Scanlessfool isn't there something else in mind? there has to be something around the area with enough parking space and for that many people. im assuming there will be alot of people there on saturday since it will be spring...doesn;t really matter the year of the car after all this is a accord meet.
I am on the list, just changed my username from rdempster to 2geeSEi.
There are also 2 people from Facebook that responded there, but haven't posted here yet. Simon Mercado from Santa Maria and Ethan Strok from Sacramento.
San Luis Obispo sounds good to me...I think my baby might actually make it there....I can't promise 100% but count me in just in case! Oh, and for any Stockton folks on here (I think there's one or 2 here) How long a drive is it to SLO from Stockton? I'd be coming from Natomas (North Sac) and to be honest I'm a bit of a wuss about long trips with the 1g so I'm just trying to get an idea of how long it takes... She doesn't mind average trips (20-30) miles at highway speeds but I haven't brought her out on a LONG drive for quite a while. My broke ass can't afford the AAA "Hotel and a towtruck" luxury treatment if I have troubles on the way. LOL
It's like 3.5-4 hours from Stockton.
I'll be honest, I'm extremely bias and just love the location. Considering the guys I went with are much lower than the majority and have our own cars more modified, I don't agree with the sentiments of everyone being afraid of being on the sand, but I can understand. With that said, I really like Robert's suggestion of the location requiring a monetary payment for 45 people and such. It's really not that expensive at all and I'm positive you won't have that many people attend. Personally, I feel at the very most, 20 individuals would be willing to make the drive. When I use to organize it, I told everyone that you know about this such meet months in advance, so begin maintenance work immediately. I'm sure you will have people deciding not go at the last minute for one lame excuse after the other, but it's still a great trip. I must say though, the trip from SoCal is nicer than the one from NorCal.
As I had said though, if you are willing to open this up to other Accord generations, C.A.M. would be willing to make a significant monetary contribution for the reservation of a location and it would also yield a larger turn out. I think the details should be worked out in the month of December and come January, all the details should be ready so it lets people know months in advance.
List Updated/
I have not been to SLO in almost 8 years. I was just in pismo last year. It's a nice area but this meet its more for the forum and facebook buddies to get together. i know CAM will be upcoming in june.
I was in SLO 3 times this year. I was thinking that we also need to know who is bringing someone with them, wife, girlfriend, significant other, or friend, so we know the total number of people.
Table for 1lol
I will bring one or 2 people
