Now with the parts I changed over I'm able to move the dist. in either direction and get the timing set
my car runs best fully advanced :)

Cah it is not a good idea to run the car with the timing off like that. You can ruin the engine as far as I know. I know when I tried messing with my timing when I heard a weird pinging noise, it made it worse fully advance.
Now about that noise, I've read all A20's have it, and even the book says its ok. :bong:

did u take ur vac lines off the dizzy frist?
my cars idle starts dropping to low when i turned it the other way and the car shakes with a low idle (And sounds like every bolt is falling off the dash and body haha) but with it advanced it runs at a nice 1100rpm (When the stupid thing isent revving up and down X_X )

No, the vacuum advance diaphragm does not advance the timing at idle. When you advance the timing the engine runs faster, when you retard it, it runs slower.

Another small update:
I cut my spare pinchforks yesterday and just need to do a little grinding on them and hopefully I'll put them in on my next day off.
If I read the thread correctly the 1/2in I removed, should bring me abot a inch lower on the front
