Interupts the map/maf signal to the ecu so the ecu will compensate with extra fuel. I think safc2 has 12? points of adjustment. Not super high-res.
Basically you trick/lie to the ecu into dumping more fuel.

are you going to rebuild your engine or get a spare and rebuild it then drop it in?
Depends on if I get a parts car or not.
Well got a egr block off plate made tonight and put it one lol. Not pretty but it works. Also picked up a b17 manifold for free the other night. :) Have my pacesetter too, just gotta put it on.

I went up against a newer van and won.
Ill throw some pics of the new parts car up in a bit.
Eh... nobody wins in a wreck.
...I do...
Yeah, mushroom did.
^$50 bucks fixed my car....I got a parts car because it was available, not because I needed one lol. Now I bought another one too...mostly because it was available...but I needed the 5 speed too.
Going the ITB route and selling all of my turbo goodies. Expect great things. :)
Over 9000 hp? :D
Shooting for 140 at least, I just want to get the car finished so I can get to work on my truck and bikes. Hoping to have the car with new suspension, rebuilt, itbed, maybe obd1 swapped, and painted by april or may hopefully.
WHOA ITBS...fucking sweet. i wanted to see someone do this on a FI bro. And your the man thats going to do it. Going to sound so sexy on the dyno or at WOT
Shit Luke, now you got me feeling the need to throw out this little info...
OBX makes a decent ITB setup for a whopping $800 brand new (but you can find it much cheaper on H-T or some other forum) for a B-series motor. Because ITB's are not all that picky about the angle they're sitting at, you don't have to worry about the angle of our motor (like you would with DCOE's). So it's pretty much just a bolt-on ITB setup for our cars because the B-series intake manifolds are a direct bolt-on to the A20 head (as long as you drill one extra hole and egg out two others on the manifold and cut off the water port.
...and yeah, OBD1 is a must if you really want to tune these things (or MegaSquirt).
Good luck with it. ...and try to get it ready for the Big East Coast Meet.
