So I looked in to that with Ethan last night. There is a very small possibility that you got one that was ment for a gsr/type R. The spline counts are just a hair different. 35 vs 40 that would let you to put the alxe in but it would also explain why it pop's out. So you have two options. One would be to swap lsd's and Two would to swap axles for a gsr/type R
Strange. Ill just count the splines tomorrow when i pull the axle. I know in their first generation of diffs they had some problems with the shape/groove for the c-ring causing the axle to either get suck or poop out easy. But im still confused on whythere is no free play in the axle when its all installed.
That free play can be the extra teeth
Free play as in length. Like walk out to ur car and grab the axle from the top. U can move it hub to trans a few inches because it has to flex during suspension compression
That's interesting
Damn that sucks. But where are the vids?
just doing a biiiiig skid and post the video on here.
Welp i *think* i got it. I got a axle from luke and put it in, not longer but doesn't pop out. Drove it around atl today and still have my fluid. I also got a set if rotors redrilled and slapped them on with the new pads. She stops real good now.
and now for pics

^^ that was a level. I left it on the vc and started the car and it fell on the mani. I had to pop it off with a pry bar lol
graph looks good just a lil choppy at the top end but looks smooth.
yea it is but with the clutch slipping it would've been hard to tune imo. once i get a new one ill get it retuned on 12psi and shoot for 240.

this is the guy you want to talk to about getting a clutch made. I just got a great quote from him and it can be done by the end of the week.
yeah that sounds about right. Justin hit 240 and same with EricW on a stock block.
Figured id post this, I was having some pretty bad heat soak from the added turbine device so i went out and purchased this:

Yea it deff helps keep the temps down. I still need to get/make a fan shroud and maybe get a higher CFM fan but this works for now.
Did you use 1/8 sheet aluminum for the ic?
Something is broken again -_- yay
