But got some weird news today. I oulled my trans off to get to the clutch/flywheel so i can get them started tomorrow. When i got the trans off i found something pretty sexy.

^^^these parts on the left were somehow behind the flywheel. Nothing looks messed up besides the throwout bearting so hopefully it will be fine.

im not sure if i'd call that sexy..but..that bearing is a bit fuckerd.

Yikes. Were you getting any indications of that before you pulled it off?

Good thing you're in there to do that job, I wonder why that bearing is so wrecked though.

yea thats why i pulled the trans off. lol Car wouldnt get out of gear when i went to leave for work one morning, just stayed in reverser in my driveway so i had to punch it out of gear. turned it off said fuck it, and pushed it into the garage. at the time i thought it was the clutch cable.

Its a custom made clutch from that shop. I just caleed and told him my plans with the car and he said he could make it no problem. I have jet to install it but hopefully it wull work great. Im tired of pulling the trans

You hitting the dyno soon? Id like to know how that clutch works out.

I am also interested in this custom clutch, make sure you remember what you told the guy so you have a record of what the clutch is, what it's rated for, etc.

Ill deff give you guys imput on the clutch once i get it installed. I just have to f8nd a transmission first. Its like a 3geez market here dried up reals fast :(

Well i went to southern gear today and they said they have one at their location across town so tomorrow i *should * have the new case. I just gotta drop it off at the shop and hopefully monday it will get taken care of.

Welll i didn't get a call about the transmission today but i did do something else. It involved a bit of cutting...

I had one bolt that was ceased in the bushing. So the 6in cutting disk had to come out

How was the install?

the install was alright. i had to drill out the bushings a bit to fit the bolts through. and i also got new bolts to replace the factory to setting. Got rid of that adjustment there. I could have kept it but meh, why when i have all this other adjustment??

im temped to get some other goodies tho. still trying to get this trans fixed tho.

Much easier to install then the first set he made.

What size heim joints? I asume 5/8"
