just payed for another cam gear....woot.

Lets wait until you cover your investment to consider anything else. I know full well that no1 else will be ready for another group buy for quite a while.

How about something useful, like a head gasket that can hold up to boost or something like a bolt on intake manifold. Why get undrive pulleys. You could pull your power steering out and get that much power and a small weight reduction. They also produce pistons, rods and a number of other engine items. Check it out

realistically though, who on this board can afford to just drop 600 bucks for an intake manifold? Head gasket i can see, but it was hard enough finding 25 people to drop 125 bucks for a cam gear, good luck finding enough to buy an intake manifold.

well they said production takes 8 weeks and they started production like 5 or 6 weeks ago so i'd guess you might have to wait about a month :dunno:

im just hoping i can scrape the $$ together before the deadline for the low price :nervous:

8 weeks is the estimated production date. I will call/email Mr. Adkins @ Golden eagle next week for a delivery date.
I don't expect them to be here exactly on the 2nd of June, last production run was delayed.

I emailed Robert Adkins @ Golden eagle for an update on production yesterday, just waiting for a reply. I will give them until the end of the week. Monday at the latest I will call them for an update.

Everyone should understand that I "don't" expect them the 1st week of June. If this goes like the last production 2-3 weeks late.

Just got off the phone with Golden eagle Robert Adkins passed me to a lady named Sherry who has informed me that the production run is 4 weeks behind schedule. Reason explained to me is that they waited to group a couple different runs and that there should not be any more delays.

This is my proposal, since the production is delayed which we had already anticipated. I will extend the group buy pricing thru June.

If you don't have all the funds available now I would be willing to do a layaway plan of sorts.

For anyone that is interested in getting a blue cam gear, I have a spare blue adj. cam gear that I will TRADE for one of the new titanium color gears. PM me if you are interested and we can work out the details after the run has been made and you have received your gear.

You can PM me with any reasonable proposals. Something like $25.00 down (Non refundable if you back out) the rest over a reasonable period of time. As long as you understand that I hold the gear until paid in full.

they were expected on the 2nd of this month but then pushed back 4 weeks which would put them around the beginning of july

No more updates since the last one, Golden eagle is not a easy group to do bsiness with. Its like they have us over a barrel, They get the money up front and then push the smaller accounts to the back burner of course $5000.00 is not small potatoes to us.

In this case patience, the only thing that I can do is threaten to cancel the order in hopes of getting them to do the run.

I'm optimistic on non-refundable deposite, but once you get the heads up this is going to go through, then I'll be good with it. I know a guy that works for a machine shop. What do we need to get this going? Do you have a CNC machine blueprint for it or what? I can pull strings too.

Dude, the deal is done. Gears were ordered April 2, 2007 we are just on a 4 week delay. I layed out $5000.00 for the order myself.

Look to the first posting on this thread to see the gears.

Explanation: Inner ring portion have been cut and anodized waiting for engraving. The outer gear rings are being cut.
