Re: New to 3rd Gen. Accord Performance-Need Advice..
OK, thanks for the info.,if its that easy, then I will check it out tomorrow and see if I can swap out the hatches. I had rather have one without any bondo, and if all it takes is a few bolts and some muscle, then that will be much quicker than bodywork.

I am waiting on my title to come back right now in my name, so I might be interested in dealing with you on it since I got to come up with funding for my 91 LX Wagon project that needs an engine and some body parts. We could meet up at the Tenn./Alabama line on I-65 at the Nasa Rocket Rest area to do the deal if your offer is something I can work with.
LOL, did you just ask if the sedan was a 2 door or 4 door?
Re: New to 3rd Gen. Accord Performance-Need Advice..
Man, cut me some slack....I had just got home last night around 12:00 pm after working a 10 hr shift. I guess since he said sedan, that means a 4 dr. car. The coupe was the 2 dr., right?

Re: New to 3rd Gen. Accord Performance-Need Advice..
Thanks for the info. man. I got the hatch switched out this morning, took about 30 min. total. Wiring sucked though, had to cut the wires cause I could not find a plug. No biggie though, its all good now, wire connectors fixed the wiring, and now no more dented hatch....:)

Re: New to 3rd Gen. Accord Performance-Need Advice..
Next project up on the board is installing a front strut tower brace-Freebie..., and I am going to buy my full length CAI next Thursday off Ebay.
Re: New to 3rd Gen. Accord Performance-Need Advice..
Whats strutbar do you have?
Re: New to 3rd Gen. Accord Performance-Need Advice..
Its a nice one. I think the guy said he got it off an Eclipse. I am going to see today if I can modify it to work on the Accord.

Looks like the strut bar project will have to wait till after the CAI is installed.
Plus its too wide and the mount rings are way too large, so I have a feeling even after I get my CAI installed, its not going to work anyways without heavy modification.:thumbdn:

Any strut bar but the ones from the 86-89 accords will have to be modified. If your going to try and modify any it will have to be a 90-93 accord one because they are the closest.
Re: New to 3rd Gen. Accord Performance-Need Advice..
Possible trade pending now with Venyix for his 88 DX sedan and $$$$.
All mods are on hold now pending on how this deal turns out. Looks like I might need to be sourcing parts for a Weber carb conversion......
