i dont have sei rims! and i think i answered your question already gio...or maybe it was on the other thread..anyway. if the car gets finished by then, then of course im going to bring it. and yeah you guys are right there will always be more cars...the only problem is that not everyone just wants to loose their car. i mean this guy is going to pick it up even though the damn thing is trashed. oh well
but anyway let me repeat myself. if the car gets done...ill go to the meet, if it doesnt then ill still go but without it :(

anyway. since my plans for the rims fell thru. im shopping again! but i cant decide which wheels! i narrowed some down that i liked. i really wanted the volk ce28 rims but not really fond of the price. i also want to go with 16" wheels but unless i find a good price and a nice wheel i dont know what to buy. so im asking for your guy's help! which ones should i go with?
here are some i was looking at, although almost all are konig's i liked them and the price is not bad either.
konig heliums bronze (resembles the volks for a way smaller price!)
konig kolors graphite
konig minuz flat black
nippon f2 gun metal (these are not bad for the price)
i want these colors bronze, graphite flat black and gun metal...in that order. anyway any input will be greatly appreciated as always! tia
i'd say get the heliums or the Kolors those are the nicest out of the 4 you listed
I agree with going with a 16 inch rim and I was wondering if you want to buy some falken zeix 512 tires for a good price. I have a set of brand new ones that I will sell ya if you are interested. they are 205/40ZR16's. I have the same setup on my accord and I love it. anyway let me know if you are interested

Yeah, those bronze ones are great, but maybe you should go with 17's. You've seen 16's on my car and they look pretty small. I'm thinking i should have went with 17's, but they look good either way. There isnt that much difference between 17's and 16's, lol.

Personally I would put these on any of our accords. They are a clean, but attractive design and would look great, I think...

Yeah there isn't as much difference as 17's and 18's, but I would caution against going with a larger wheel. Yeh they look cool but take away from the car's power, so I definitely recommend 16s...Quote:

yeh the 40s and 45s are very close, somethin like 3/4ths of an inch if you set them next to each other. a 205/55 i would not recommend for the size factor. Low pro's look better anyway...
well unfortuatly i went a completly different route than what i said i wanted and was going to do. i saw the for sale thread in the marketplace from mrrlx for some 14" enkei mesh wheels...black with a polished lip. well needless to say i bought them and they're actually pretty nice looking on the newly painted 3g. which by the way is back together and up and running. the only problem i have right now is that i have to change my brake pads. so im not driving the car for safety reasons. i should be able to change them later on today.
anyway i have taken pics of the in process rebuild of the car and the ending result of course. but unfortunatly i havent been able to download them to my computer nor upload them to imageshack. i have to wash the car really good and get rid of all the fucking almost caked on ash from all the forrest fires here in orange county. once that is done and all the fires are gone im going up to the hills and take some nice pics to post.
my car looks pretty nice right now but im having second guesses about the color i chose. i think i should have gone with a darker grey but it actually looks exactly as i planned it...but again my plan probably was not what i was looking for. as weird as that sounds
stay tuned for more pics... on the same 3geezer site...same 3geezer time...i will return lol :D
oh i forgot to mention in the bible i wrote above... im not going to keep the rims on forever. im still going to buy some other ones. but i have set my mind on the konig heliums 16" i still have not decided on the type of tires to use though. i just bought these rims because i had an itch to scratch, i only had that amount of money i offered the guy, he needed it, he delivered..and i paid so thats the main reason..besides the fact that they look good here is a pic if you have not seen the thread:

also if anyone is interested i have a my old set of stock rims up for sale. im thinking 35 a rim. ill give you the tires for free since one of them has unleveled ware. the rear tires have at least 80% thread on them the fronts not so good lol
