Hey All!
First off THANK YOU for the help 87roach.
We made some more progress this weekend, Got the upper half of the intake manifold installed as well as the fuel rail, injectors and separately I installed the ECU (clicked it into the harness LOL).
I'm off work early today so I'll be installing the Alternator and Serpentine belt.
Good stuff. You guys have a nice group of 3g's in the kelowna area... Hope you get the car back on the road soon.
Hey All :-) Another update! (I get to do lots of these recently!)
I have pictures but I got a new cam and need to Grab the data cable. I'll update here later.
Yesterday I installed the Alternator, Power steering pump, each corresponding belt, Motor Engine Harness. I gave the motor a good clean as well.
At this point there is nothing left to install on the block!! (except Tranny).

I moved my car out of my shop for the first time in 8 months! Wow was that ever a circus! My shop isn't big enough to move the car around properly to I literally had to get it to the point that I couldn't move it anymore then used a floor jack to shimmy the ass-end sideways like three times... it took like an hour lol

I did the 'ol spring clean in the shop today.. again... it's amazing how many duplicates (and triplicates) of parts i have lol.

I also took an air hose and wet cloth to my car to get the 8 months of body work dust out of it... that also took more then an hour.
So now it's on to the final touches in the engine bay, getting my fuse box and the motor mounts installed etc. I have the wiring harness strung and mostly connected as well.

I keep finding that everything I put together needs one part I can't find so I end up going to the junkyard almost daily.. oh well...
I got shift linkage from the junker today as I was missing it lol... I installed my short shifter today :-) Here's some before and after:

I'll need to adjust it once everything is installed.... I ran into an issue with my tranny today... the spring that holds the throw-out bearing is broken so i'll need to pull a tranny at the junkyard just for that one small piece. I also need to re-install my Gas tank... I found out I'm missing the straps that hold it so again it's a trip to the junkyard.... I also found out that I was a dumb ass and cut my fuel lines coming off the tank, at least it's easy to get new ones when I drop the tank tomorrow.
What did you use for sound damper? Looks like aspace shuttle in there!

I got other work done too but mainly it was getting odds and ends from the junk yard, such as the throw out bearing spring, the straps to hold the gas tank (which suck) and the gas lines off the tank.
I can now mount the tranny to the engine! Once that's complete there will be nothing left to put on (i think) :-)
I'm getting closer............

It went in like butter! Lots of room all around the motor... I know the valve cover sucks I have a new one just havn't installed it yet. I THINK I can get this started tomorrow!!!!!

Yes, I have a couple coolant lines and the cv's and then I can start it up, Tonight 5:30pm :-) Oh I put a new valve cover on and it looks great ;-) I will get a movie of it first starting!

Well I got it to turned over yesterday but for some reason I've got no power to the pump, I'll give it another shot today and figure out what's wrong
what you wired the pump backwards?
Check the main relay and the ground wire near the injectors and/or thermostat in the engine bay. The main relay grounds there. This is what drives the pump.Quote:

I actually had one but it got stolen out of my shop :-( I have suspicions as always but no proof *sigh* So I am using this cheesy Weapon R filter and a piece of aluminum that I had in my shop... It's missing lol (as this happens to little sensors over a year). I looked in the Hanes manual and it's supposed to be in the trunk... the thing is I looked in the trunk and couldn't find it in my working accord... but I'm not surprised it's a different model. I will be going to the junk yard first thing in the morning.
*Edit - I just looked in the online manual (http://www.pauldesign.ru/honda/shopmanual.html) it says it's behind the glovebox... I'll take look tomorrow*
On that note if anyone knows if it's not in the trunk please let me know.
All in all the mistakes I've had to fix are due to inexperience and next time I will be sure to do things a little differently to avoid this same issue.
Justin86, Your rear strut tower brace didn't work quite right... I made it fit, We will see if it effects my alignment... (no offense or anything I know things aren't always perfect)

Sorry for the no updates BUT...
I finally re-installed my gastank today... it was interesting running my new brake lines..i did get them up out of the way anyway. I'm getting the windshield re-installed tomorrow and then all that's left (to get it rolling) is the drivers seat and shiftlinkange :-)
I am taking all the orange panels from my other car and putting them on this one until i get all the body work done.... it's cheating but i don't care at this poitn i just want it on the road. I may have it insured next weekend :-)

Wow if I didn't know about all the work I've done to this car I'd say it drives like a piece of crap! lol BUT knowing all that I've done the car feels pretty good...
I say that because I'm mainly getting used to the ROCK HARD suspension, if I run over a pebble it sounds like i just curbbed my car! This is due to: Integra Shocks and Springs as well as my front and rear strut bars, and the tie rod set. (picture below)

I've got some electrical issues to work out... My taillights don't work and I've got a grounding issue to work out... this is the little stuff I hate because It feels so tedious.
As for the performance.... I've got about 120 KM on the block now and WOW It's quick! I haven't even stepped on the pedal yet... My car feels like it has V-Tec man... I've got the custom cam from Colt cams and as soon as I hit 3100 RPM it wants to pull and pull... and hard too... which is a tease of course as I can't really get the rpm too high for another 4850 KM lol
Unfortunately my car is not where I want it to be... It only has the Driver seat installed... the Re-upholstering job I did sucks ass so I need to do it again...but this time I've got more experience on my side (the roof looks good still but my A,B and C pillars are falling apart :-( )
I don't have money for new carpet right now so my interior is going to look like crap for a while :-(
All in all it's OK... Not Good but OK. It's going to be alot nicer in the near future when I get some more time and money to put into it.

along with those im running an NRG short quick release. it is about the same distance total with hub quick release and wheel from the wiper and turn signals as the stock wheel was.
id order it from them. great customer service and fairly quick on getting the parts. and they are cheaper than most places
