115 with 3 ppl in the car, and in 4th gear...would gone farther....but state troopers ya know....
You already know mine. I got the hatch upto between 125 and 130, call it 127 on the way back from Orlando going down I-75. Kept it between 110 or so and 125 for 100 miles :D

I've had mine up to 120 on the freeway. With me and my g/f in the car. It would have gone faster but theres a lot of highway po's.

120 is as fast as you'll see my 87' go on the freeway... She just runs out of breath and sits there. I think if I retard my timing a little I might get some more power out of the topend... right now it's advanced a good bit.

i've had my celica to 137mph cruising along side my bro's capri and then he left me in the dust....the car was rapped at 5600rpm in 5th gear and might have had 5 more mph in it but I didnt want to blow the POS up...
my accord would go 112 because it was losing compression from the blown piston land on cylinder 3...
i had my 87 up to 120 on the expressway, and this one ive had up to about 107... i dont like to do the top end thing anymore tho.
never have taken mine over 90 but i can tell by the way it feels i can get at least another 25mph out of her it feels pretty solid at high speed at least better then when im doin 40 down a rough road.and shes an auto to.it shifts into 4th at about 4300 if im really on it if not a little earlier.any other autos out there how bad does your tranny suck? id switch to manual but im lazy i dont wanna shift while im drivin in the city thats why i have to get another accord lxi or sei (yeah right) coupe with a manny in it just for fun.the auto will be all bling the manny will be all performance.ahh to dream. one day ill find one in my price range wich is dicko. :sad2:

121 mph is still the fastest i've taken it. it was a while back with my bad axles and bad alignment rattling the car. now thats fixed i havent taken it up past 100. i should one of these days. i dont even remember hearing the engine or wind. i'd like to try that again when i'm more confident with my suspension, i'm just paranoid or something.

The previous owner claims the 3G has done 140 MPH in a slight downhill on original circumference wheels. I myself has never gone faster than 100 MPH in it, but even at a 100 MPH it still pulls damn hard. Only engine mods = DynoMax headerback exhaust, everything else bone stock.

I took it 130 in 4th with the stock tranny. My current tranny tops out around 140mph, but if I were to go bigger tires or drop in the stock tranny I could probably hit 140 plus with the spray. :D
I think a lot of us have hit 130 and unless one of us has an aftermarket spedo then I think that may be the max but the record would probably go to 88turbo or sean
well actually when I was playing with the speedo it actually keeps going until about 160mph. So I got pauls gauges and continued the speedo up to 165, and that would be with stock wheels, if you had bigger tires you could in theory go faster, but we need turbo to go that fast.

i got mine up to 130, and that was before i blew my timing belt and with very little mods. havent had it up there since. to many darn cops in the va beach area. the sad thing is that my honda is almost as fast as my firebird for top speed. now acceleration thats a different story. firebird wins hands down no problem but crapy gas mileage. thats why i bought my accord.

i've done right around 100mph a few times, don't have any stretches to go much fast. lol, i drove for like 3min w/ cruse controle on 100 on my way back from myrtle beach cause 95 was empty and the regualar speed limit was 70 w/ most peeps going 80+.
oin my first 3g (my '87) i hit 105 twice, but i was paranoid about cops being just around the next bend..., so i slowed down both times. i'm heading down to cali next week though for a month..., maybe i'll find out on the way down how fast my coupe will go?

83 in the Fiero (never pushed it.. thought I was going 50)
100 mph on the dot in my '79 Courier (redline in top [third] gear)

138 in my friend's Eldorado, him driving, still had plenty left
with the Fiero I will be able to do 160s :) but I don't have the nuts to go that fast.. I was screaming like a girl in the Eldorado

around 110 mph on 295 could have pushed it more but i got scared that the wind will just pick it up turn it upside down dump me out then steal my car
110 today, took me about 10 seconds to get there (20 mph roll), whereas it used to take me twice as long on my base if I could even do that! Im expecting around 150mph, but it needs a good alignment. 110 is scary in the car's current state.

drove my mom to work today, coming home, this freeway is kinda down hill, i was like 4th at 7 g's, that was bout 120. 5th i think it was round 5-6 g's (was looking at the road and pissin my pants) when i pushed it all the way to 125, wow! it was sooo slow pickin up in 5th gear. i was like "keep pushin it, keep pushing it, don't stop!" but i did at 125. too scary! i swear it took like 5 mins from 120 to 125 mph.
btw: no one was on the road. hahaha was bout 7am
ive made it upto100 in my old dx auto, 130 in my 3000gt in 5th gear at about 5000 rpms and a 7k redline
Got mines to about 110 when I first got it at 104K and then couple days later my head gasket blew. Now I'm at 126K with new head gasket....think I'll try for higher record. :)

'87 toyota pickup 160k miles: 95 mph so far, havn't pushed it all the way yet, every mile there is a 5-0 around. this state has a lot of ricer :D .

i just hit 100mph(maybe just a bit more..., wasn't really watching the speedo...) in my 4dr coming down out of the canyon. curvy roads(not WAY curvy, but still) with 3 other people in the car. the speed limit in the canyon is 50, maybe 40-45 where i hit 100. anyways, yah, it was fun.
Mine's doing about 130 with the new tranny. It was topping out at 115 or so. The new transmission is out of a 87' Lxi w/ 90,000mi completely rebuilt with choice quality stuff. Getting better gas mileage too, about an extra 35mi per tank.

with my auto one i got it up to 110 and w/ my manual one i got it up to 128 on the HW.......................it was fun to drive like that since thea was no one except me on the HW like around 1 in the mornin........................
about a month ago, when i was coming home from CA, my friend and i hit a 120mph, but the funny thing is we didn't even believe it at first(his speedo can be questionable at times). it wasn't until we started counting seconds(using the cd player) between mile markers that we believed it. it's kinda crazy to have mile markers fly by every 30 seconds. kinda cool to though. this was in a '89 LX 5spd.
89 LXI with 225000 miles, 105. That was in 5th, just stepping on it from about 65-70 with a headwind. Oh yeah, that was before the dumbass coffee can I put on, so now maybe 150 top speed :rice:
