Who bought the front bumper? I know someone had it.
wprocomp or something like that. He has the var suspension too.
nice find man that 3g looks hot
Pretty neat. Pretty neat indeed.
Ohhh I want that B20A header!!!!
OMG, that exhaust and wing are sick... I'm not a huge fan of the cf48, but the mr5's are super nice.
holy hell....damn that is a fine ass list of modifications...
all i gotta say is friggin' good find! that's a keeper.
that sad thing is, a set of those wheels would be worth more than one of our cars..
LOL!!Quote:

So that B20A is for Mugen Formula 3? I like the header of this Formula engine.... Might be a bit long for our car though.
You sold that Mugen header!!!!!!!!!
Aw man..... I want it sooo bad (with the rest of the exhaust system)
I'm sure there are some sitting in a warehouse... rusting and collecting dust.
Sir carotman, I am talking about 11 years ago - at that time (sorry being oldman) mugen header was not so rare like now of course. From the picture of this thread, the price was ¥72,000 = approx. $700.00 in late 80's. Thats almost $1000.00 today's money I guess. Recently I have quoted about the same price for hand made stainless header from Hayward and Scott in England. They might make one for B20A and send it abroad if you are interested.Quote:

You'd better tell me :pQuote:

Really? Can you get DC Header for B20A? Is that for prelude? I know some people in Japan are looking for header for their B20A - now the situation is up side down, US is better parts supply than in Japan. I haven't seen real item from DC but as far as I can see from lots of photos, the standard of welding is the same or better than Mugen - the welding bead is constant and very good penetration. The mugen exhasut tail tips have double tube(two layers) and works as silencers if I remember it right.Quote:

Seriously :squint:
heheh.
epic1400cs, DC doesnt make a header for the B20A. They dont even make one for the 3rd gen prelude anymore. But let me know as well if you bump into any mugen b20a parts :) By the way I got my Honda EPC from the auction and it's much better than the american Honda EPC I used before. Even has pictures of the cars. So thumbs up on that one.
those 5's look sick!!! i love the stock spoiler for our car, it just makes it more aggresive looking without standing out. oh could you imagine getting to go in a factory storage building and finding that stuff? i'd die a happy man at that moment, well once i hugged the engine anyway. sorry, that was a little odd, but i'm sure you guys understand.
I wonder why there's one header for the B18A and another for the B20A?...
And I love those smoked 88-89 bumper lights.
Those MR5 wheels arent that expensive. I have found many sets on ebay and every single time I posted a thread about them everyone seemed to say oh those are ugly. Now that you guys find out they are for our cars its flip flopped.
hate mugen wheels, look like shit after you eat buring hot cheese and bean tacos.
I've always love the MR5. I even love the CF48 =XQuote:

I picked up an Airmass header (made by Holley) instead of the DC from a local 3rd gen Lude owner for $150US. They come in either weird looking blue coating or a Shochrome coating. I haven't tried it yet but it looks very simular to the DC. You'll need to get the downpipe cut and rewelded to get the right angle to fit the Accord though.
Anyways, nice find on the catalogue. I'm surprised there was so many parts available back then. Some of the spoilers look nice!
YK86 Thanks for the information. I will tell my fellow about it. So to use the US Prelude header on our car with B20A, need to adjust the angle, no matter if that is from Chikara or Holley, is that right?Quote:

I have found a dscription of Mugen HQ in out scart of Tokyo.Quote:

::EDIT:: sorry guys, the link is now confirmed dead....
Bump for being SOO Damn Cool!
word.. i wish the pix were bigger though.. those spoilers look dope
that intake on that b20 is awesome, is that from a 3g lude? since it says it says 87 lude on there... thegreatdane can you rescan them please? :D :D :D
I would if I had the catalogue myself but I dont, sorry. It's a Honda garage here in Denmark who is lucky enough to have that catalogue.
That intake is unique for the Mugen B20A, it's designed to ram the air in the race cars the engines were in, since the opening was facing forward.
Thanks for bumping the original Mugen thread forrrest89sei :)
ooooooooooo, the true meaning of a short ram intake
is there a rwd gearbox for the b20?!?!?!?!!
i would sell my soul for a rwd gearbox for the 3g.
and also, those pics are really awesome, good find!!!
I bumped into this page.
http://files.isitaboat.co.uk/www.geo...e/mugen05.html
This page is by committed 1st gen CRX owner who have received these very rare official material from Mugen.
Most of the part are not for us but, the page below is the rare full colour info about MF204.
The linked image is 3500 x 2500 pixel image so you might want to add to your collection.

Notice how they used the stock Honda distributor with Wires :D
that dry sump system interferes with the intermediate shaft... too bad.
I recall seeing that valve cover somewhere :D
wow, very nice find epic1400cs!!
It would be a load of fun getting to drive one of those old F3 cars with the MF204 and get to hear the sound of this engine. But without the 24mm intake restrictor of course :)
Impossible!!!
Agreed!
Here is your dream come true, Mugen F3 for sale.
http://page16.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/u9564273
At the moment the price is ¥3,500,000 (=$30,000) or buy it now at ¥4,725,000 (=$40,000?)
Shame you can't see the engine but its only 1,000km super low milage!
Good luck! :D
lol I think I would have to settle for renting one for an hour or so instead.
