the Road on I75 and Livernois..it wanst worth towing!

5th: 1982 ford fairmont station wagon..(straight 6
motor) paid $50 for it.
it ran like a MoFo. sold it for $100..till this day
the dude still has it!

6th: 1987 ford taurus (3.8l v6 fi) was actually a
great car but the body was fucked! bought it for $450
drove it 3 yeaers sold it for $500

7th: 1987 ford tempo (2.0l fi)bought it for $150 with
130,000 miles then trans went out @ 140,000. i hated
that fuckin car! junked it for $85

8th: 1988 ford tempo (i didnt learn my lesson the
first time) paid $100 for it drove it for around
10,000 miles and guess what? the fuckin trans went
out! junked if for $85.......

9th: 1987 pontiac bonneville with 120,000 miles(3.8l
v6) paid $1200 for it very nice car. sold it for
$1000..........dude still has it!

10th: 1987 toronado trofeo (3.8l 3800 fi) my favorite car! loaded with leather power everything. bought it for $1200 sold it for $2,000..had 230,000 miles when i sold it. still ran pefect with no leaks or smoke!

11th: 1970 buick electra 225 (455 7.6l v8 4bbl) car ws mint. bought it for $1800 painted it threw in some rims and sounds,drove it 4 years and sold it for $5000

12th: i still have this car!! 1971 pontiac grand ville convertible (455ci 7.6l v8 turbo 400 transmission) less than 1800 of these were made! i sold the 1970 buick for this car. its the car in my avatar on the left..........


13th: my first NEW vehicle 2000 jeep cherokee sport.(4.0l v6) got stolen at a detroit tigers games in downtown detroit 6 months later.

14th: 1998 grand cheroke limited bought it with 56,000 miles made it to 120,000 befroe the fuckin 4wd went out and ruined the trans...(was 5,000 miles out of my extended warranty) i never towed anything or even used 4wd much. only in the winter. bought it for $16,000 sold it for $1,500!! i will never buy another jeep

15th: my 3gee! 1988 accord lx-i...i got it with around 95,000 miles on it MINT in and out with NO rust at all. bought it for $500.
runs like a new car and gets 32-35 mpg all freeway driving! sporting about 110,000 on the clock now..........

Umm yeah lol. First gear is getting noisy on me. That was after this weekend's autocross, I was running 1st gear pretty hard through the slalom they had set up right after the launch gate. That and hammering the axle into the transmission probably didn't help...

Oh yeah I did a reverse 180 in my car some time ago and missed the shift, grinding it really hard. Thats probably why it's so noisy now. I'm very hard on transmissions, I gotta hand it to this one though, it's lasted me 130,000 miles of beating since I've bought it. I figure this car is lasting me so long because a nun owned it before me, so it's blessed. :)

But the transmission still feels nice and smooth and drives fine... We'll see how long that lasts...

They never had the Wrx here in Canada till 2001 model year.....

Imprezza P1, Wrx STi, SVX, Legacy turbo and Brat were always on my hit list, but I've either not qualified, They don't make it here, Havn't found one in goood shape, been sold out, been out sold, or in the case of the Rex, I've tried to buy one three separate times, but the dealers out here seem to think they are high end or something and won't let me buy one. So I continue to wait and now my priorities have changed and I want a Titan.

been driving for just over 2 years... I miss the accord and that fox... they were fun.

A friend of mine (actually the guy I bought my Accord from) has honestly owned at least 40-50 different cars in his life, and he's only 25. No BS, seriously. Not surprisingly, not many have been good cars. He's had just about all makes pretty much except the Korean brands. Pickups, vans, cars, whatever. I guess it's the philosophy of "buy a car for $500 and run it until it dies, then get something else."
Here's my short list:
1. 1976 Olds Cutlass (350 - still have, still runs, but parked because of gas prices - future resto project)
2. 1989 Ford Crown Vic (grandpa car, but it had decent balls)
3. 1995 Mercury Tracer (dead slow, but great handling - gave car to my brother)
