SO-Cal meet @ the Annual Japanese Classic Car Show

The Japanese Classic Car Show is having there second Annual car show at the Queen Marry Park, in Long Beach. Im not sure if our cars are eligible to participate in the event. I tired calling Friday but the had already closed for the day. So ill try to call them on Monday. It says “pre 85 and as we all know our cars were sold here in the U.S in 86 but im not sure if the accord was sold in 85 in Japan. If it was sold in Japan then we are able to participate in the event. It cost $ 30.00 per entry to register your car, with that you get a JCCS 2006 event T-shirt, commemorative goods, drawing ticket and goodies. And if not we can use there big ass parking space that they have out side the show and have our own car show lol… gfrg88 aka Gio and maxoutracer aka Jessie (who came down all the way from the bay area to the event ) and I went to the show last year and we had a good time. If the Japanese Classic Car Show has these annual car shows we can also use it to have our own Annual So-Cal 3geez meet. This meet is not intended for so-cal members only. I would strongly suggest that anyone near so-cal come down and participate. that would mean you NOR-CAL fools too

the reason i post this up now is because registration started on the 1st of this month and spaces go out really quick!

come one people!!!!! cory, you can easily get your car in and win a couple of prizes ;) monkey you can too, and well abe, you have to fix that fender and the hood buddy(I do too lol) i wont be able to make it since ill be leaving to colorado next month...

do i have to register to just attend? or is the registration to have your car featured? and isnt this for cars 85 and under? well you guys do remember that mine is an 89 right?

^^ If i remember correctly, its not about the year of your car, but the year of the model of vehicle. or generation.

Looked like an amazing show last year, I'm hoping I can make it down for next years show.

you only have to pay if you want your car featured in the event.
and hash is right its the first year of the model of vehicle. or generation, and our 3rd generation was built in 85!!!:welcome:

well yeah...i would but my car isnt exactly in the greatest of shape. i mean i havent washed the damn engine bay, i still need to change the oil pan plus he only visible performance mod i have is the freaking intake. and i havent purchased my wheels yet. just like gio has said....wheels make the car man. youre right...i dont have 30 bucks lol...and i wouldnt have time to arrive at 7am. so i cant do it. but i will be there

its not all about "performance" or flashy car show looks. its about having a Japanese Classic Car. and its not like its going to be this weekend, so you still have time to save up on the rims. but ya thats just another $0.02 cents. :violin:

yeah...but sep 30 is only a lil over 2 mos away. i do have a son and other shit to take care of you know. my car is not priority one. so i dont think i can have wheels and tires by that time. i mean wheels yes but not the tires lol. and like i said i still have shit to do to it to make it run right. i have to get the damn exhaust on because my cat is clogged. which i already have the high flow cat ready to go and the muffler i just need to get it welded in place. after that i have to get the headers fixed, both the primaries and secondaries. the primaries need to be plugged (not to mention plug the egr and get it to work) and the secondaries need a new flex pipe and a new flange. so i got my work cut out for me

if my laurel blue is ready to go by then then ill got it has ac and cruise but my lx is not in good shap that trip to sf messed one of my motor mounts up so its shaking in 1 and 2 end and it still has a stalling prob so it looks like im gona need a new carb

cool. the best times to leave would be 4am to 7am anything after that it gets a bit hot

I'd be down but my wife can't take the heat at all and even though I know what it's like to be in hot Southern CA, I don't look forward to that climate. Plus we'd have to get back the same day due to the wee one. Maybe some other meet in the future. Or a winter time meet! When it's cold and dry (like 50F or something) lol

we're almost in the same boat but we're gonna get a room so that i can go back with the boobah if it's too warm or we get tired or whatever.it seems $$$$$$ but you can always find cheap rooms on the internet.the bird=wee one?because we're bringing the baby.
