aight these are a lil better, the only thing about these pics is u can see some of the places i fuxed up on but who o well it happens, my car is a lil dirty and i got a lil sloppy on the left one near the edges, maybe someday ill fix it

bascially, u go to pepboys and get that CF trim sticker stuff, its in the section witht he decals, get a piece of white paper, and trace the outline of the piece ur covering, then make a template out of that and just cut the cf sticker stuff the way u want it, stick it on and make some final trim, whole process....20 miniutes, im also under the impression i can make a gauge bezel this way too, or cover my ipod in it, possibilities are endless...

That decal looks pretty convincing in pics, but in real life, you dont have that great 90* light reflection flop as you change perspective. Most people wouldnt notice though unless you were a connoisseur like ourselves lol.

Nah it's just vinyl made to be almost black, with silver-ish looking dash marks painted on to give the effect of the reflection on the strands. It's what we in the RC Airplane hobby would call, "stand off scale" because it looks real if you stand off a ways to look at it.Quote:

they're the pro car parts gauges. i dunno if they sell them anymore but you can try to google them. i have a link but im too lazy lol. oh and they're silver not white :thumbup:

looks good man y didnt i think of this? i covered the gas lid and the eye lids i tryed the eyelids atleast the roll is not wide enought to cover it tryed it side by side and it makes it look fake so yeah anyways looks pimp man

I swear I didnt jack your idea lol I just had a ricey thought and CF my headlight trim too lol. I actually baught a roll of CF vinyl and just started looking around the car to see waht would look good and I said HEY headlight trim and gas door. I still wanna CF more though.
