Re: pictures of my ride this upcoming week
don't really like the GTR style grill, rest of it looks very good.
I wouldn't mind a R32 coupe, but I'd probably go for a burgendy colour GTS25

sadly, i doubt ill get it running the way i want it, so ill probably keep it around since im sure the corolla is going to take a dump sooner or later. so itll turn into my back-up car. at worst, if its taking up too much room and causing me headaches, ill part it and scrap it, or give it to my sisters. ill probably yank all the gauges from the accord and stick them into the skyline though

im in the process of dealing with elijah since hes the one that deals with the company, hes basically the middle man. if i were to pay him extra, he can go get the car today, and pay for it through his shop, and i can repay him instead of waiting for a week or so to get it. ill have to wait and see though.

Re: pictures of my ride this upcoming week
Nice, RB20 will work just fine!! Alot of guys are telling me lately theyd take an RB25 over an RB26 because of cost/power ratio

an RB20 is far superior to an RB25/26. i dont remember what elijah told me, but he said that the RB26 tends to have cylinders 1 and 6 lean out(probably from a shitty ITB setup), their oil pumps tend to go on a daily basis as well, and the fact that it costs like 10k to put in is a huge turn-off. the RB25 puts out more power then the RB20, but its also pretty expensive as well to put in. their skyline puts down over 400WHP on the stock bottom end, so you know its durable since its been like that for a while and it doesnt seem to be letting go anytime soon.

Nice R32...my personal favorite style of the skyline.
how much are you paying for that thing?

Re: pictures of my ride this upcoming week
Yea I like the R32's as well. very nice, so i take it it's not AWD or has the ATTESA-ETS (nissan's awd/active torque split system)? the RB20 is a good motor and there are plenty of them swapped into 240SX's. How much hp is it advertised at? IMO an RB25 would seem like a better fit for this car, since it looks a little big for a two liter. Do you know how much it weighs?
Either way, it'll be quicker than everything here (minus wickedaccord ;) ) and a blast to drive. RHD is badass, except if you wanna go through the drive-thru or anything like that.
Good luck, send us more pictures/videos. :D

Re: pictures of my ride this upcoming week
i just picked up the car on thursday night with elijah and his wife, and insured it friday morning and such. still need to do an inspection which no shop would realisticly pass the car cause it doesnt have DOT headlights. as far as handling goes, it compares to the BMW i had earlier. it builds up boost at insanely low RPMs, and whatever gear im in, and whatever speed, it pulls hard all the way up to the governed speed of 190ish km/h. all i need to do is cut a wire and away it goes though.
its kinda weird driving it as im a left handed person. i used to hold the steering wheel with my left hand, but now its the opposite. and since i dont have good control with my right hand yet, i kinda look like an impaired driver.
the only downfall with importing anything JDM is you dont see what you get, but this isnt the case with my car. i saw everything, but i never noticed the wheel locks it had on it, and how they never included a key. its not at the track right now representing a shop, so itll have bald tires by the end of the day.

that car was originally supposed to cost me under 8000, but since there was another buyer looking at it, that buyer said that they cant sell it to me unless i pay the full price of 8000. it was supposed to come with the tein coilover suspension installed as well, but someone else looked into those, and i had to pay for them instead of get them as a freebie. atleast i got the strut bar for free though. in the end, i payed 8400 for the car with the suspension and the strut bar.

im most likely changing out the hood to a GTR CF hood, or atleast a stock GTR hood. the turbo badge is for homos, but im inclined to say its a girls car since it had pink lights up front and the angel wings on the side. theyy already got rid of the ricey junk
a guy at work is considering buying this car, so i might not have it soon enough to mod...

Re: pictures of my ride this upcoming week
I've seen that exact same turbo badge on R32 coupes before.
Is it a M-Spec coupe?
