the car actually looks decent on the inside shot

are the zip-ties in the engine bay necessary? If you do need them for some reason, switch to black zip ties and trim the ends off

u need to sand the top lines on your valve cover :)

i had that same valve cover paint job, but i switched it to black but in turn i did a shitty job on the black so props for the even and smooth paint job

CAH #2 worthless thread.

Here is a bit of constructive criticism. Your center console is going to peel. It looks like the prep work was very minimal. If you want the paint job to last, you need to prep better.


Also, on the e-brake handle, did you use a flexible paint agent since the handle is a softer material, or did you just shoot it with the same type of paint as the rest of the console?



Your heat shield is going to fade. Unless you bought header paint(VHT, POR 20) it will look bad.

Why dont you show us your handy work then? do you even have a 3g? show us some pics of your car. Hes doing the best he can to his knowledge and resources so give him a break, were all not professionals

1 yes i did prep it
2 no i did not use flexable pait it is the same paint i used on my metro and it lasted the whole time i owned the car
3 the heat shield was painted with high temp paint and even if it fades it well still look beter then it did all rusted and shit
4 the car is only going to be used for 1-2 months then it well be sold

Sorry, but I would only pay around $400 for your car. $1,000 is quite steep.

looks nice just need to clean up the engine bay spray it down and such minus the zip ties interior blue and maroon don't match so look into painting the dash

was bored took some pics no progress but i did get a big dent in my quatar panal lol and i painted my back spaker grills black and removed the 6X9 tray since there are no back speakers besides a walmart sub in the trunk lol

people say the same shit bout your car people think your car is crap.. but u dont believe that do u?.. every person on this forum has different tastes on what they like... if u want to put stickers on a car do it right... Jesse aka maxedoutracer has stickers on his ride and his shit is by far rice..

I like the Domokun sticker!! But I reserve my stickers for UNDER my trunk lid, where they don't dirty up my car.

sup i like the cord umm ive learned the hard way not to paint the ebrake handle my started pealing the next day idk about urs but i took some clear tape and put on it where it slides between teh brake covering and the hausing and it has seemed to fix it and its unnoticeable but yeha props on the gauge trim work nice job the engine is ok also

if u want to set it off buy a shifter knob and an ebrake handle along with an ebrake boot like 29.00 on ebay for all three l8r

yeah i had to get some orage glow and a rag and get the paint off the ebrake handel it never really dryed it still felt sticky lol
