Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.

Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.
hey where u at man i been tryin to pm u
-
Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.
i want me one of those dammit.. i wonder how much work it would be to get the plastic piece installed into the accord trunk
-
Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.
you could have someone cut teh botom of the vigga boot off , then just have the lower peace welded in and it would look oem (Y)
-
Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.
hmm thats not a bad idea actually
-
Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.
you dont even need the bottom of a vigor boot, just weld in any piece of scrap metal lying around
-
Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.
does it bolt on otherwise or is there a lot of custom fab work to do?
-
Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.

Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.
Im confused? If the vigor is the accord, why would you need to modify anything? Are you refering to putting a sedan trunk lid on a coupe?
-
Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.
were talking about putting the center light on it without swaping the trunk to save on the expensive shipping

the trunk lids are different and expensive to ship
-
Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.
indeed. i sent a member here a vigor rear end im hoping they will do what the pic a18 posted :)
-
Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.
how much for just the center shipped to the US? (need face lift edition)
-
Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.
I like the way mine looks now, but was there a 2-door Vigor over there?
-
Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.
coupes are usdm vigors are jdm so no
-
Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.
So coupes were never sold outside the States?
-
Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.
they where in japan, but they where built in the US and exported to japan
-
Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.
indeed i know at leasr 2 lucky coupes were exported to japan frm the USA (as LHD) and then exported to NZ from japan)
-
Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.
the black vigor with the body kit is nice .It has bumper lights on it to sweet and i like where the licnese plate is. Very nice ride there .

Are there any RHD coupes?
That's so weird that they built them all here and then exported them. Did the rest of the world not want coupes or something? I guess it never really occurred to me that all you New Zealanders have four-doors.
-
Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.
they made them in the usa cause it was cheaper lol. here in NZ we got hatches & aerodecks instead of coupes
-
Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.
-
Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.
i wonder if this would fit the coupe? planning about buying one very soon but crap its costing me a grip but should be worth it.
well i seen a coupe with one so i guess ill be doing this modification :)

a lil faded but gonna get it fixed

Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.
Cool looking and all but umm, we drive accords, and the rear bumper doesn't have a spot for a license plate.. So unless you grab a bumper from a vigor too, its going to look weird.

no sir, you drive an accord and ill see about doing something about the plate.
-
Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.
The vigor had a piece that can be cut into the accord bumper from what i recall. I was going to do that swap but knew i wanted the xenon kit and would have to hack up a prelude xenon bumper to get the right look.
I think i looked up the part numbers on the JDM Honda catalog back when things were actually available.
-
Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.
well my current bumper is in somewhat alright shape and could use that for an example to measure and color the outlines to get a similar look like the Vigor bumper. i don't think it would be to much trouble to do.
-
Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.
lol whoever cut that boot lid up off that vigor sure done a butchery job of it haha.
yeah there is a plate surround that you take out off a vigor to put in a accord bumper. if you're lucky, your accord bumper will have the outlines all ready to be cut from the inside
-
Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.
That looks so good on a coupe, can I have? lol
-
Re: VIGOR trunk swap in Thailand.
Man, I've been in Thailand for a month now and I still haven't seen one like this. I've seen JDM tails and I've seen USDM, but no Vigors. Letting me down, Thailand.
Tommy, if you're in Bangkok on March 5th/6th and wanna show off your car to someone who'll probably sit and drool for the entire time you're there, PM me :P
