should post that another three times :)
but i agree. im sure someone whop knows anything about how they work will chime in soon
there is a supercharger on a Buick or some shit like that you can change directions of the charger pretty easily.
I believe the car is a v6. so there is more power to be had on a 4cyl.
i believe this may be the one.

sweet next time i go to the junkyard ill grab as many different kinds of superchargers as i can find and see what i can do the first supercharged 3gee WILL BE MINE ill do write ups when i get to doing it
get r done
first convert to OBD1
oh dang that would be tight. im guessing your going to be useing the stock a20
no room for a supercharger, but I love the idea. You will need to have some sort of drive tube set up for the power take off drive. In that could be a pinoin set up of some kind to reverse the direction if needed.
With all of that, expect some power loss to drive the supercharger. Light weight but extremely durable materials would need to be used.
here is a project started on a mini, using a yota 4agze

^^^ what kind of car is that???
morris mini or minor (early mini cooper)
Wouldn't the B16A supercharger almost work as a bolt-on item?
My only issue is that i would much rather run a centrifugal supercharger setup. Much less heat loss and much more power. But yes, the b16 one would be pretty close.
Last time I remember if you put a supercharger on the pulley on the supercharger would hit the strut tower. Therefore, you would need to run a smaller pulley and change the crank pulley as well because the supercharger would not be in alignment with the crank pulley.
if you try a sc12/14 super charger, or one of those ones that mount where the a/c is, you could make it spin the right way by doing something like this lol

Pulleys are a good idea. I think the only issue would be getting a long enough belt.
im actually planning on doing a supercharged a20a1 with a 4 barrel carb
