Nice man.
Take some nice pics of that rear arm. That looks way better than most of the part store stuff I have seen in 10 years. Replaceable ball joints a big plus!
Yea man better than I expected

I have those rear arms on a hatch, super easy to adjust and have held up great. Only thing is the driver side bushing is out...gonna have to find a replacement
I just bought some Mevotech arms for the Red Car. I'd never heard of them and wasn't sure if they'd be Chinese garbage parts. When I got them, I quickly ordered a bunch more of their stuff. It looks top quality and they're still making new parts for us.
Did y'all use a special ball joint because it looks like there's quite a bit of space that it's not going to work:squint:

Huh... well there SPC arms I think thats the company that makes them.

But they don't list the arm...there a weird company in my book so I am not surprised.

There is a picture in this thread of the ball joint, looks correct. But your correct the press fit is sparse.
I sent out some emails and messages and they sent me a part number but the part number is switchable with the ball joints I got so it looks like these are going back. Edit Engineers are physically going to put the two part numbers together to see if they fit to be continued

The ball joint you had to press it in correct? I mean it had a press fit. Thats probably the one that goes with that arm and I guess they figure the boot covers the rest.
Hope they get back to you soon because I just ordered a set a couple days ago. The preinstalled set costs double too!
I can't tell though, is the ID of the hole in the control arm too large or is the seat just not deep enough to cover all of the knurls? Idk if I would worry too much about the latter.
They got back to me with the phone number to call call the phone number the man says that the parts are so old as really no blueprints that SPC originally made them. So now I'm just waiting to hear back from SPC to see if I can find a ball joint it fits

I just binge read this whole thread tonight, it's very interesting! I admire what you're doing!
OK SPC got back to me with a part number. And looking that up it's a 1990 Honda Accord rear upper ball joint.Attachment 10171
