Well everything is hand tight until you put the head on and run the nuts down, so I guess the nuts.

I do mine in three increments of 30. 30. 60. 90.

I think the cast iron block should be fine, i put ARP studs on a d16 and we did 90, like shane said, 30-60-90.

I did 60-90-110, and at 30 pounds of boost the copper gasket still pushed.

Luckily I am not boosted, but I guess torque was nothing to worry about. I do wish we could get an mls head gasket though.
