Re: 86 Honda Accord turbo build
My hood latch quit working so I decided to go ahead and put inn the hood pins. Best place for me to install it directly on the radiator support.

the car is up and running I've actually went a 136 miles so far . after removing the EGR valve and majority of the black box components I no longer have code 12.. and it's a lot easier to adjust the idle. and for the stage 2 plus spec clutch I like it I was expecting it to be more aggressive but it feels pretty good. everything's running pretty good right now

Yeah I still have to convert to OBD1. I still don't have a job so I'm kind of at a standstill with it.

300 miles the rrod ecu took a crap.luckily i had a backup one. took the plug from the old ECU and got an OBD1 connector and a little shielded wire going to try do it yourself conversion harness

Re: 86 Honda Accord turbo build
brave man. I use the ebay harness. its like 20bucks and easier to re-pin then all that work to make your own.

Re: 86 Honda Accord turbo build
U can spend 20-30 on a eBay one & use the how to guide to do it. Or you could pick up a boomslang one for like 100-140 & its plug & play

That's the plan to go with the eBay one I got plenty of practice repining the past 2 days. does your wideband hook into the jumper harness?
-
Re: 86 Honda Accord turbo build
yup on the one that i have there is a separate harness for additional plugs, like o2/wideband imput, cel light grn, ect. they are just spliced into the proper plug tho.
