88 LXi Coupe - parked since 92
Just picked it up this morning and had it towed back to the house. Not sure what I've gotten myself into, but I think I can save it.
Last registration on the plates is from 1992. white with burgundy cloth interior that's musty but pretty clean. 100,000 miles on it.

Welcome! That's a good project car to have.

Sadly it's an automatic. After an initial scrub, the paint survived as long as it could under the Texas sun, but the finish is cracked all over with some primer showing. I'll be able to get it into the garage this weekend so I can pull the ECU to check for water damage. No idea if this car got flooded during Hurricane Harvey or not.

Welcome! That's a barn find. Good luck! Hopefully no critters decided to call it home for it sitting 26 years. That car will need a lot of restoration to be roadworthy. But with the space, time and funds you can work on it at your own pace in your space. I just wonder what happened to whoever the owner is that it sat for that long. Even though it's an automatic, it doesn't really matter. What's important is that you're trying to save a 3gee that's worth saving. You can always do a swap or you can get the same motor from one at a junkyard like check
EBay they do have A20A3 heads available.
