Wow, I didn't know they were that old either. I guess I could have the wrong name, but I Googled it just to be sure and found a couple old pictures of the eight-spokers. In 2003 I didn't know jack, so I have no idea how old they are.
Much better-looking than the Racing Hart replica version, IMO.
Re: Fresh pics of "Rough Life"
Did you find any of the stats for 'em by any chance? I wasn't able to find anything except the new version when I tried searching. I'm probably not coming up with the right search terms.
I'm interested in finding out the offset and weight of the wheels specifically, and possibly the price of a set of these new, back in the days when they were still available.
Re: Fresh pics of "Rough Life"
Interestingly, WheelSpecs has an entry for the discontinued version but no actual numbers. You can always weigh / measure them and get your answer that way.

That's true, and I'm seriously considering that option as well since the white powdercoating, under the nasty black rattlecan job, is a real mess anyway. I may have the tires dismounted and the rims stripped down to the bone by a sandblaster. They'd be simple to weigh and measure then (probably be really sweet looking in bare metal as well).
The wheel shown in the link dont look quite like the wheels I have though, other than having 8 spokes. On the ones I have the spokes widen out where they meet the rim and they dont have the engraved spoke. The centercap is an exact match though. :dunno:
Maybe it's just the lighting in that pic.
On the plus side ... I can use standard acorn lugnuts/locks if I wanted to mount those massive 18" mothers, instead of having to use the narrow body "tuner lugnuts" that I have to use for the Advanti's.
here's a close up ... looks almost like the Blitz-08

Thanks yall! I'm so happy that it's finally springtime, and I could put all my stuff back on!
Having the stock wheels, hood, and springs on the car for the last 4 months was making me buggy!
Re: Fresh pics of "Rough Life"
I think I finally found the correct name and manufacturer of the mystery 18" wheels. Just letting folks know, in case anyone else was looking for info still.
Even the centercap looks similar to the 5zigen version.

I found a picture in Jan, 03 Import Tuner magazine, and then went online to verify the info.
