Swapping clusters an comparing them. I took the resistor off an see what happens. They are big differences in theses cluster

Yup no more vss. So tells you something. Now my temp gauge is at hot an my car don't over heat. Going to have to install a water temp one
I think you should put that in your build thread so that when ppl are going through it they know they must upgrade the gauge cluster to get rid of the vss code.

Is that an auto cluster i see? I got this iniglo cluster from Brian that is not for auto, ai may use it but would nEed an auto cluster hint hint lol

Well tested my temp sending you it has not passed specs 49-32 ohms engine temp an 142 ohms cold. I'm at 187 ohm now an would not pass 73 . So I can see why my gauge not working lol.
