I told him shit its fast enought lol. he said nope we just getting started. lol till then ill be updating some pic today i took of some bushings i did.

ill post a dyno vid and results of this build after the dyno session heheh
Excellent!
So the shifter bushings for 90-93 integra will fit my 89 Rendon.
Can't watch video ,firefox says it can't open it.
will i took apart my harness and routed all the wires where they needed to go on the motor got them taped (to hold together) now i have to pull it out and loom the bitch. looks ten times better then what it did. alot of time for sure. ill throw some before and after progress
Progress PICS!!!
Makes me to start working on my b series coupe... guess i better stop talking and start working on it behind the scenes. ;)
had a great time at the 3geez meet in Seattle this weekend 4.20.13. Put the accord on the dyno and was impressed with the numbers for now. Was detonating pretty good at top end around 7.8k and vtec engagement was horrible as in not smooth transaction feels good don't get me wrong it just robbing me hp when it engages then climbs. over all outcome was
196.4hp 130tq. not bad cams are set at 0-0 need to bring the LSA closer and tune a bit more on top end. ill post a dyno graph shorty
Sounds good :) that red 2nd gen civic looked bad ass
Wow 130 torque, I bet you don't even need to get on it to stroll pretty good
It gets up an go forsure here is the vid of the dyno.

Rendon LXi | LS Vtec b18 Dyno | 1986 Honda Accord - YouTube
Was doing some info on my setup I should be 220hp easy it's the fact that Crome free is making me loose a lot of hp. An I need to set intake cam to +2 which I didn't do an vtec engagement needs to set higher for tht dip on the graph to go away.
I hear that transistion you're talking about, it's almost like it's pulsing in huge spurts but it does catch up.
If I had to guess, it sounds like an integral flow issue at wot , maybe cam timing since erverthing else is champ.
What temp does the engine wind up settling in to if you don't me asking?
It still runs awesome.
Edit: dam I didnt see that last post till after
Sits at 190.
update: Got the accord re-tuned in away its kinda weird thou that at like 7-8.5k tuner said he does slight adjustments and changes he had to keep changing it so he said something is wrong. Only thing i can think of is having the battery in back with the ghetto wire i have. wiring is not a issue or it wouldn't run LOL.
But im over 200hp now we set peak as in when i drop into 3rd for example i would lean pretty good then richen up. fixed that moved vtec to 5.8k way smoother in transaction. messed with the cams abit. all i gots to say is it moves now i taught it was fast but its faster. ill have to do a follow up vid. All in general its smoother.
Btw i had a huge vacuum leak. was at 14hg and had a high idle took out the thermo gasket i got and put a oem one. vaccum went to 19hg and the car wouldnt stay at a idle since the tuner set the idle per vacuum leak lol. so the Iacv was correcting my vaccum leak. anyhow i have to do some work on the accord yet as in bushings and what not haven't had any time so busy with family kids and car shows. i redid my wiring as well so its pretty good . ill post some pics but figured ill follow up on my progress.
That's rad man! I forgot to get a ride in it last time you were here! Gotta get one next time!
Where's the pics from the shows?!
Ill post this week an a how to on my pc680'install
time to bump my some what progress i did to my accord so far.
installed pc680 battery and i love it . made my own bracket and used the old battery mount to use as a spot. ill have to add pics later i also installed a relay to my fuel pump great mod to improve your overall voltage to the pump.
https://www.3geez.com/forum/performan...ump-relay.html
Pics of battery all mounted up! That little PC680 is pretty rad isn't it? I put mine in the trunk and used 1/0 wire up to the main fuse box. Turns over like a champ!
for sure way better then my ford battery lol. john you asked for pics here you go.

im lower then you! :p lol im just sayin... lol but how much was that batt? and wehre did you get it from? I need one soon... my walmart one is too clunky in my trunk.
If you had 300 dollar headers you wouldn't go any lower lmfao. An I'm maxed out on my coil overs . B series is lighter remember . If I had a a20 this thing would drop another 2 inches lol.
Got it from eBay was the cheapest I found back 5 months ago lol
pfftt real coil overs, get some :p and how much lighter is it?
Lighter lets just say that. If I remember correctly I picked up just the block from the ground to the bed of my truck...... Wow that bitch was heavy. An my block to my b series was like a paper I mean one handed status lol.
bro, did u even lift when u took the A out?
It feel way different to me the swap feel tons better the weight if the a20 would really suck down that front end now I have the b series it feels like a go kart . Front does not bounce as much that's prolly have to do with my coil overs as well lol.
I'm surprised my kyb's are holding up with these weapon r's.
Thank you btw
Nice looking battery man. Looks like its coming along nicely
it has its been a long road and this car came along ways. its been awhile since you seen it ey?
Car looks amazing man. I read up on this thread on a work night and only got 3 hours of sleep.
And with my lack of knowledge what does the LS mean in LS VTEC? Which is the motor you swapped in.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4
It means he to put an LS Integra engine block(non vtec), with a vtec head.
Legend pretty much said it. Used a b18b1 non vtec block an matted it with a b16a vtec head which is called a ls vtec. With the stroke of a ls an vtec head you get more power but there's a few things you have to do to make good reliable hp.
I understand now. I didn't realize you could swap different parts of an engine onto other engines like that. Now with doing the ls-vtec I've heard that you have to get a "kit" to mate the head to the block as they dont just swap right over. What did you do??
What exactly did you do to make the "good reliable hp"?
Definetely is a nice engine swap you did in your 3g. The videos and power you have now is sweet!
Now I'm going to be looking at doing this engine swap myself.

Great post I learned alot from that link .
I learned a lot also. I bookmarked it and wrote some stuff down for my swap I plan on doing.
The numbers you put out are a good start for what I want.
Have you done a leakdown test and compression check to see if you have lost anything?
Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4
Nope no need to runs great. Lol . If it goes Owell I redo it
Ok. Ive looked at some of the thread babys geting upset so cant stay on for long. What cv's do you use?? And does the company that has those mounts do they also have d16a1 mounts and 90 integra b18 mounts???
updates soon.

Few Updates Since 2013
I did Coil on Plug conversion. Night an day difference on start up an vtec kicks in smoother stronger. Pulls harder.
http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/w...EE3B3D9C91.jpg
Also redo my whole suspension as in bushings. even the rear stock control arms.

Also was having 1/4 tank fuel starvation problems. Was getting to a breaking point where i just needed to fix the issue. i Just use the stock sock an cut the tab that hold the push ring on. Fits tight but wont come off. Btw im using Xenocron 255 fuel pump. there sock socks ass lol. Hopefully this fixes the issue.

Great updates man, I read through 90% of your thread....awesome build and great documentation. Definitely useful for those of us new to this chassis. I will be doing a b20v in mine over the next 6 months or so. Always wondered if coil on plug was worth it on my many other honda builds, never took the plunge though. The bay and car still look incredible, super excited to get rolling on mine. I have had similar fuel starvation issues with walbro 255s when autocrossing, pretty frustrating.
How do you like the performer x intake mani? I have had blackworks, skunk2, Aebs, and old school Blox. Have yet to experience the Edelbrock manifolds, The old AEBS and Blox were by far my favorite in the flow deparment. Is that an EF skunk2 half rad I see?
any new lines on premade harnesses? I have searched pretty high and low...seems non existant. I have the ability to do it all myself, just being lazy.lol
Thanks. Coil on plug was worth it for the fact that I can use the stock pcm no software was needed. Add the kit consist of was a Control module an harness an coils. Which I bought for 380 with coils. Kit worked awesome. Hondarulez.com is who sells the kit. you can also look him up on facebook.
The performer x is amazing. top end pulls like crazy. But you need the cams an decent comp ratio to make the intake work like it should. its made for high RPM. Harness I made my self. Just using a wire diagram adding obd1 plugs to existing harness. Boomslang jumper harness to connect to stock harness an your set. Pretty straight forward.
Im not on here much like I used to so my bad for late post
Does it have to be that shift linkage?

no lie im digging that cluster the more i see it
thanks bro. yeah I was all about the s2k but the gsr cluster grew on me. ill end up putting the type r cluster in
just figure drop by and update my thread. sucks that photo bucket ruined everyone's pictures. who uses what now to photo host?
since my last update i done a few things also got a few things i yet installed
i have jdm folding mirrors i need to install. i installed jdm map lights which i love. complete redid the audio system also redid power and grounds did the big 6 (ground) . Added a insolater meaning running 2 odyssey batteries rear is a bigger battery running the sub in the spare tire area. i am sure you guys know how a insolator works but i can explain. its a relay pretty much. key off or key on acc i run off rear battery. i can completely run it dead or once it goes low once i turn the key to start relay activates running the front battery to start the engine then runs both batteries in series . pretty slick. less stress on the whole electrical system per say.
so audio system is redone. added a personal steering wheel with ngr hub. installed k-sports suspension best thing i did to my car in a long time lol. At the moment im redoing my intake. cutting and tig welding a custom one. issue was the intake was sitting right behind the radiator which was a no go for me. going to add a shield as well to make it look much nicer. going to redo valve lash and degree the engine. removed old adjustable pacesetter short shifter and made my own using the stock unit. cutting and added some rod then using chedda birdcage. also installed a full race traction bar from chedda as well. converted lights to led all exterior. adding a led flasher inside so no extra wiring needed for turn signals. headlights look better with led and i have high beam again. made some shields to cover the bulb as well. just haven't had time. i coach my kids now with sports. i do a lot of golfing so i still wrench on old blue when i can or feel the urge to lol. i work alot on my golf car and do other things that keep me busy lol. but old blue sits in the garage waiting. going to get rid of the chip put a rtp . waiting on hondarulez to release that. other then that fellas not a whole lot. ill have to post pics maybe tomorrow.
let me know what you guys use to host pictures. been awhile eh. cheers fellas:cool:
Looking good Ren! Glad to see Old Blue still around.
