Man that mount is close. I was thinking it might hit, but I guess it's bolted to the subframe, so it won't move, but the engine will move on it... So, are you the first person who has actually installed these mounts?
Idk. I haven't seen no pics but legends an his pic looks just the same. I might bang it a bit with a BFH . Just to give it some clearance
losen the subframe bolts you may be able to pull the subframe forward to add more clearance.
I'll try that .
Little update. Did some wiring clean some wires up. Extended some an added the obd1 dizzy plugs to the existing harness. So harness is done. Need to add he extension harness an add the cyp wires an icm wire.
i thought you would have ditched the accord efi loom and run a civic one as a standalone lol
Nay. Why fuck with all that . Its simple this way an I Deloomed an took out what is not needed a. Kept what I wanted. I bascily did what legend did
are you done yet? Lmao.. I need ripper vids1!
Not yet. My b18b1 is in Portland. Once I get that I can tear it down an get th bearing specs swap out pistons.
is the trans mount a direct bolt on or do you need to drill holes in the fender walls to bolt it on? Got pics of it mounted?
kwik your pic scares me
No it has to be welded. I have pics in the beginning of the thread
without the motor installed how would you tell where it has to go? Wouldnt the axles need to be placed and the car on level ground with the motor supported level to mark the location?
No. It's pretty straight forward u can see where u can install the bolts, one fits. But I don't trust 10mm bolts lol. Basically u can't put it on wrong unless your a fruit.
i think innovative should of made their own mounts because the place racing mounts were not the best fit.
hasport mounts dont have fail :)
Its good to read a thread about a b series swap thats actually making progress :)
Thanks Arron . U know me I get er done.
I agree with messy. But at the same time they took the mounts an the time to redo em. So atleast we have mounts.
Badass man, good to see another b-swap. Hopefully I can actually get mine running soon. That brake line thing is kinda of a pain in the ass. Looks like those mounts are a little different then the PRI. My rear mount is not that close to the firewall, and my transmission mount bracket lines up with the holes in the side rail perfectly. They still look very similar.
I need to get my tranny I found a y1 for 250 so I'll see if I can get it in a week.
The mount almost lines up but shouldn't be off. Well have to see. Hopefully it be dropped in in a couple months.
Question do I used b16 head studs or gsr. People can't mak up there
Mind on Honda tech lol
That's what I was thinking. Thanks man. What lsv kit u use?
Oright. They have the special dowels now so I should be ok from he reviews I saw.
