Click on his feed back # and read that it will give you an idea. The resister changes, what the computer sees for coolant Temp, are real easy to make ,go to radio shack, work in the computers limits and it will give you some results.

Even a chip from a respected aftermarket supplier did next to nothing on a bmw 540i , Dinin only showed .7hp. Car and Driver did a chip test several years ago, NONE of the one's they tested made more power than that. Somehow, I do believe that a chip on a domestic, especially a bigger V8 can show results, but not on imports. A chip into a 1.8T turbo VW is a different story since your tweaking the boost.

Every wonder why you don't usually see a chip in peoples list of mods? And what major manufactuer makes one for imports?

It is just an resistor pluged into your air intake temp sensor I played around with the Idea before what it does is advance your vacume advance just turn your distributer a couple degrees.

its a waste of 6 dollars. and jim unfortuantely there are big gains to be had over the accord factory efi. i know ive picked up ponies running a lxi manifold on a carb motor. but ive had facotry efi and im blowing off civic si's. so the factory shit sucks. that simple. as i siad before the gm stuff so far is worthabout 10hp over the facotry shit. not really enough to spend $$$$ on but it was something i noticed. i gotta get it on a dyno to know for sure. ill see when i can afford it.

The chip is real. It won't work though. I doubt it to work. Hmm, interesting, mixing the chip and a Ford Focus gives you an R34 Skyline GTR. I wonder what the result is if mixing the chip with a 3G.

if you want a ecu chip what you want to do is get an 87-88 lude si ecu send it to jets tell them what you got in mods and they will reprogram it for your mods for $234 its not cheap put a si ecu has more potential then an lxi or sei works with lxi and sei a20a3 lude si has a20a3 i got one for 100 used at a werker

and did you get it reprogrammed yet? and if so, did it work?

i thought the lude and the accord had different distributor setups... hmmm hmmm hmm....

would be cool to snag a lude ECU and mod it though, if it would be possible!
