    Very little spark from coil

The other day I was driving and suddenly my car just shut off. The engine turns over but refuses to start. First thing I did was check for spark and found that the coil was firing only once and with a dim orange spark. This is the list so far of what I've done for troubleshooting and what I've replaced with new parts.

    The coil is getting 12v.
    Replaced coil with new.
Replaced all spark plug wires including coil to distributor wire with new.
    Replaced ICM with new.

The car is an 88 Accord LXi.

The visual check for spark is not all that accurite. I would look at your cap and rotor since the spark travels thru there. There pretty cheap. Also may look at your timing belt. It turns the cam and the distributor runs off the cam.

Never even crossed my mind to check the timing belt. Just had it changed about 50k miles ago. Its broken. Anyone know if its a non-inference motor?

Non-interference it is. However after you install the new belt, you'll want to manually turn the crank pulley a few times to make sure nothing is messed up.
