    replaced the fuel fump

the other day my "new" accord stopped starting(the day after i got it...), and i thought maybe it was the fuel filter(happened with my other accord), but it still didn't start the next day. then, i tested and it was the fuel pump, so i spent $125 and got a new fuel pump and fuel filter, replaced it all(couple of hours, first time doing it), and it runs fine now. my faith wavered, but it's stronger now, lol

seems kinda steep, i did my pump and filters for $85, but getting the car to run is always worth the money.

i put the back seat down and opened the trunk(more for light), and pull the carpet back and pull out the little board dealy. there's a couple access points(i wish i had a pick). you pry up the driver's side one, and the fuel pump is under that. i used my haynes manual. i just got my stuff at autozone, the pump was $109, and the filter was $16-17. i'm just glad it works(and that i didn't blow myself up... )

I paid $54.00 for my fuel pump at Pep Boys. Probably the best place to find one =)
