1ge new owner from Miami Florida

Good morning everyone. Hope everyone is doing good. Well my name is Chris and although I am not new to the Honda lifestyle I am new to the classic Hondas.

My honda knowledge comes from stripping and building from scratch 8thgen honda civics. 2 1/2 years ago I decided to turn my 06 civic so into a full race car for autox and road coursing. I have been looking now for a daily driver that I could enjoy and have fun with.

So I have been looking and a friend of mine showed me this 1980 honda accord hatchback LX 5 speed for sale and I fell in love with her. As of yesterday I officially own her. She is very minty and only has two rust spots that are going to be an em easy fix.

It's a one owner car that kept it in the garage for 90 percent of its life. She only has 129,000 miles making it an average of 4,000 a year. Interior dash is perfect with no cracks and the interior just needs a cleaning.

I definitely have a lot to read up on and learn about this little fun car. It's my first adventure I to the carbureted world of Honda. She definitely needs a new paint job but for the most part isn't to bad.

For the most part yes people park in their lawns except for those places that have a homeowners association and don't allow you to park on the grass.

That's the generator at the guys house I got it from. When I saw that thing I was like holy crap batman. It was pretty big. The car with what you see. I have to investigate the mugen badge a little more and see if it's not just a stick on or not. I have looked online in pictures and every to see if I find another and nothing. So I will keep you up to date on that dr snooz

Hahahahaha it's funny cause I made an offer to the kid that was selling it for his grandfather and I started out with 1000 and then the mother without hesitation said no. That's when I knew who I was negotiating with lol.
