Up for sale is my 1987 Honda Accord Lxi Sedan that sat for 5 years. I lived out of state for 5 yrs and recently came back. I have lost interest and no longer pursuing the project. I have too many cars and need to get rid of this one. Some of you may remember this car during its glory days of having a one-off custom bodykit that I made. I have since removed the body kit (fiberglass and bondo didn't hold up over the years) and I am selling the entire car for pick-up ONLY, will not part-out - I don't have time to remove parts from this car to package and ship them at the moment since I'll be moving to another city soon. I am selling the car for $900 or make your best offer!. It would make a great parts car or project car since most of the work's been done. It has alot of rare goodies that can no longer be found anymore. The KONI Red struts and H&R springs were well worth over $1200 alone! The car handled like it was on rails! It has a clean FL Title. The car is not driveable at the moment since it sat for 5 yrs. It was under car covers the whole time so it wasn't exposed to the elements. I have sold the custom 18" wheels and put the stock wheels back on. It has 207,538 miles. All power accessories still worked before it sat - door locks, power windows, sunroof, both flip headlamps, etc. Pretty much everything pictured are still there except the bodykit, intake tube, wheels, stereo, and battery + cables. The rear outer door handles, rear inner door panels, and rear seats are missing also but I have them in my storage somewhere and can try to find them if need be. You can rip off all the good aftermarket parts for your car and part out the rest of the stock parts to make your money back! Can't beat that! Come pick it up! PM me if interested!
Most of these aftermarket parts were either new or under a year old. Items of interest are:
-A20A3 Engine is good condition - good compression on all 4 cyl's, no leaks or smoke, and ran strong before it sat - would probably need to be taken apart and all the rubber seals and gaskets, and hoses replaced to be serviceable again since it sat for so long.
-Auto trans needs rebuilt - was slipping before the car sat after I changed the old fluid (bad idea) - was going to do 5 speed swap but never got around to it.
-Carbon-fiber hood (faded - will need sanding and re-clearcoating/painting)
-DC SPORTS ceramic-coated headers and downpipe in good shape
-custom 2.25" dual exhaust piping from cat-back (this was custom mounted/welded to fit the rear bodykit bumper it had, so you might have to retweak it to get it to fit according to your taste)
-CARSOUND high-flow catalytic converter
-SSAUTOCHROME Twin DTM-style resonated mufflers w/ dual tips
-clear front sidemarker lamps
-DC SPORTS front strut bar (anodized blue)
-OBX Rear strut bar (chrome)
-rear lower floorpan brace (anodized blue)
-new front and rear windshield glass (old ones had cracks/chips)
-custom woodgrain steering wheel with custom steering wheel adapter (horn not connected yet)
-white face indiglo guages (not sure if still working) and chrome bezel trim
-custom auto shift knob and foot pedals
-KONI Red adjustable struts (was new before the car sat)
-H&R 2.25" drop springs (was new before the car sat)
-Ingalls front camber kit (was new before the car sat)
-SE-i 4-wheel disc brakes conversion with stainless steel braided brake lines, AEM ceramic pads, and Brembo crossdrilled rotors (rotors rusted from sitting for years - would need new rotors; pads should be ok)
