OMG! I have the exact same Blaze King stove sitting in my living room! It's missing the center medallion on the door and the handles too. How trippy is that?

If it isn't overheating as you ride down the highway with air flowing thru the front of the car then I would guess the engine fan(s) are not coming on. Check the wires going to the sensor switch on the lower passenger side of the actual radiator, if there is power on one of them then it is the connection or switch, if there isn't then check fuses and relay for the engine fan.

Well my fan is wired to run all the time. I let it idle with the heater up all the way and it didn't over heat at all. With no heater it overheats every time. But then once I turn heater on and drive, it cools down.

If I had to guess I'd say the radiator is clogged because the fan ran all the time but any restriction in flow ( thermostat stuck or bad water pump) would cause intermitant overheating like this...or poor air flow thru the radiator.

Btw I think your carb is on backwards, if thats a Weber with the square tophat, shape of the bottom piece of the air cleaner, it definatley is. If its the oval shape then its ok but seeing the mixture screw in front is wrong on either unless its a 38 but even those have the linkage on the drivers side.

Okay I got a radiator at work today! What a bargain. Hopefully that works! I'll put it in today.........um backwards carb really?! Damn I guess the guy I bought my car from wasn't about that carb life. I'm trying to learn! How do I tell for sure?

On my 86 cord and all others I've seen. The electric choke sits in the rear, meaning your carb is turned 180 Deg. Compared to ours. If it runs and works well the way it is I say (If it's not broken don't fix it) If the cross plate is still in the intake maybe it could make a difference but if it was removed the gas dumps into the same place. Maybe where all wrong but just don't know it.

    Re: BremoSupremo's 88 DXBuild Thread

So my car runs great now! Everything is peachy except a small crack in my header that will be welded next week. Now I want to go lower. I can't find any springs to fit my car that are any lower than the ones I have now. I was thinking about cutting the extra set if stock springs I have but I don't want to lose my smooth ride. The struggle is real I want to be lowwwww.

Slowly but surely! Running great besides loosing so much power! I'm guessing its the exhaust. The crack in my header is huge now and its killing me, sounds like crap too. I know I've got another leak and rattle somewhere down there but every time I look I can't find it. The guy I was going to have look at it is so busy it'd be forever before it got done so I'd rather do it myself. Any ideas? Thanks to Niles for the awesome deal on a coil kit I'll be sitting pretty this weekend too! Stoked!

I figured since the bulb is super blue the light would be too but they came out so green. You can't tell as much in the pictures but they look like straight swamp water haha idk about these
