The whole deal sounds really suspicious to me...
I do car stero installs for all my friends and I usally get there old stuff and a few days ago i bought an alpine mp3 head unit and that means my old 1 (that wasnt bad to begin with) is not being used . the stuff isnt stolen it all works I would sell it on ebay and i probaly will but I wanted to see if any one was interested in it so i could maybe save time. If you wanna see that i dont rip peeps off check my feedback on ebay RBORGT
