Guys this is a how to on a teg gear, lsd and reco.
Some of these steps may not apply to you if you do choose to do this. I hope that this will help. Good luck.
Things to buy
Cg teg transmission
Transmission synchro, bearing kit
B16/18 lsd
Accord 5th gear (optional)
New main and counter shaft nuts.
Tools required
Socket set
Soft rubber mallet
Air compressor, air blower and rattle gun are a must have
Bearing puller
Circlip pliars
Hammer
5mm punch and others.
A press
Do yourself a favor and print out the transmission rebuild section of the workshop manual.
A camera comes in handy also.
Screw drivers
Pry bars
torque wrench
Step one separating the cases.
Start with stripping the a20 trany, by removing the black cap 8x 10mm bolts. Remove the black cap. Now bend the locking tabs back on the shaft nuts. Use a rattle gun and remove the nuts (input shaft is left hand thread). Remove the roll pin from the 5th gear shift fork with a 5mm punch. Now remove the gears, bearings, collar, synchro hub etc. Keeping note on which way everything goes. Please note that these pics are of the cg trans but is exactly the same for the a20a trans.

Now remove the 3x selector rod bolts being careful not to lose the ball bearing and springs. Then remove the reverse switch.
now remove the 12x 12mm bolts for the casing.
Use a soft mallet and give the casing a few taps from side to side just to break the seal, then you can lift the casing up, may have to use a big screw driver or pry bar to help it up.
Now with the cases apart this is the time to take plenty of photos just in case especially the selector mechanism as its a bit tricky.
