Just wondering if I were to do a custom cold air intake like the one on the how to section, do i have to worry about hydrolock and also is it easy to install?

redricer89 we applaud your curiosity, but plz post in the correct section next time (Technical for this 1). but anyhow welcome to the board!
u have to take off your bumper, which i havent done, but i imagine its not toooooo bad. also you will have to relocate your battery, which is a project in it of its self. and u only have to worry about hydrolock if it rains a lot, or u drive thru big puddles. though you can install a bypass filter in the tube that is essentially a foam peice that water drips out of so it doesnt make it all the way into the throttle body.at least i think thats what it does!
anyway, its all up to personal preference. i am not going to risk it, cause its rainy up here... but i want to put it in a better place that next to the battery, cause i get lots of hot air.
goodluck!
