    mph aka tach went out

    Can anybody tell me if I'm right? 89 Honda Accord Lxi manual fl. I was driving and the mph hand just fell to 0. Would it be the little wire on the tranny maybe being loose or the while dash? Help please

    Its cable driven for the speedometer.
    1988 Lxi owner since August 1995
    336k miles running strong!
