I have a 1989 accord lxi. from what i have read everyone says that only Accord sei rear disc brake assy can be used to swap out my rear shoe assy. but what about an 1990 acura Legen? any reason why it don't work? just curious.

I dont know, take pictures and measurements to see whats different. Does it have a 5 lug hub? Can a 4 lug hub be pressed in?

because the rear knuckles arent meant for disc brakes, there are a number of things you can do once you have SEI rear knuckles
you can upgrade the caliper from an acura legend. just have to shave the caliper bracket and the se-i pads work
