Well guys,
I dont have a car no more. I was downtown p-town and my car took a crap. I was in First gear and just about to shift and all of a sudden my car screeched to a halt. both my front wheels locked up. I left a skid mark of like 15 feet. I was in the far right lane of three lane one direction. I could start the car but couldnt get it to roll when engaging the clutch. I managed to pull the the shifter out of 1st but when i did it jumped into second and wouldnt budge. I could break the shifter in half if i tried hard enough. so i got out and saw a parking officer. Went to him and said that i need to get ahold of AAA. I have the same name as my grandfather but the card was expired and so i mistakenly gave them my grandma's card. they said they couldnt do anything unless the person on the car was present.So, oh shit i head back up to where my sister was afew blocks up the street. told her my car is broken and i need to somehow get it towed back to dallas to get another tranny. called my dad(he wasnt home) then out of the blue my grandma called and she said to call AAA again and use the expired car and tell them that i got a new card and lost it and say that my grandma is my wife
so we called again and they finnally got a towing truck to come out within 30 mins.
So, about 30 mins had passed since i had left the car to make calles and I head back to wait for the truck. I get there to see that my car is GONE!
sheeesh now i had to find out okay who's the authorized towing company in this area so we called the police dept for abandoned cars and they said to call back in a hr.
Called back and said that Security towing has it. and it would cost me 105 to get it out.
by this time i was burned out and i called my dad again to discuss my options he still didnt answer the phone so, I called my pops and told him my situation and that if I should just leave it there. I told him that after getting another tranny and fixing the distributor o-ring, and drive the car back home. it's just a waste of money. knowing that i have to replace my windshield, fix the front end, get the suspension back to par. it's just bettter to scrap it and get another car and start all over again clean.
My pops agreed and so i got off the phone and right then dad called and I told him my problem and he suggested i just leave the car there. and i could drive the Jaguar (we have 2 now) 96,97.
I went to the yard where the car is and got my stuff out. and i told the guy that i'll decide if i want to just hand over the title and pay the 105 flat fee which, i am goin to do.
Just want to let u guys know that there's a 89 gold hatchback with rims, coilovers and koni shocks to be salvageable and the motor is under 45,000 miles. Only thing to be done on the motor is fix the distributor o-ring so oil doesnt leak. and get an aftermarket carb if u wish.
I think whoever wants to get the car would only have to pay something like a 100 bucks? the guy said something like that. and u can tow it home and take the motor and GC's and rebuild the koni's.
As soon as i get the title transferrred i'll let u guys know that u can inquire about the car. I think he said something that after 30 days, it goes into storage or auctioned off for probly not more than a 100 bucks.
I'm in beaverton right now and i'm waiting for a check to come in so i can fly back home and work again.

well i might not go, if i do i will have to take my car in after the meet, and i literally have 20 math assignments to do, i have tommorow to do them, im skiing tommorow i dont know how long for.
wait i might be able to come im not going skiing, my car right now is in the shop getting the brakes done, then im gonna go to my friends do to "homework" (aka go to the meet) hehe, hopefully i can make it there.
