Rubbers - Anyone know where to get them from?

Previous owner siliconed the Right side rear quarter window shut, because it was leaking. So before I cut out the silicone, I am wondering is it possible to get replacement rubber molds?

Also, while driving back after I picked up the car, I copped a stone chip on the windscreen. I was going to get a quote on replacing the windshield, but I dont know whether they can get rubbers for it. The standard moult has metal bits on the corners and running down the side etc.

should be able to pick them up somewhere. talk to a windscreen place as most will have access to new parts

Where are you from? I might be able to source some remanufactured rubber pieces. They fit and work fine, for me at least. So far I've bought front and rear windshield and all 4 doors weatherstrips and they work just fine. Better than hard and rotted factory ones.

If it's just a stone chip, pick up a repair kit from Napa. They work great and are around $10.

Hazwan: I am from Australia. You gaginung? Yeah if you could. Not sure if there is a difference in the rear as mine is the hatch back not sedan. So I would need, front, rear hatch, 2 hatch doors and quarter windows. That would be great if you could find it. I want to keep it as OEM as possible but dont know what my luck is.

Oh yeah and the rubber roof strips.. the one on mine has shrunk about an inch on each side. LOL

I have about 15 dings in my windshield and some have starred out pretty bad. I've sealed them all with the Napa kits. Takes about 15 minutes and about an hour in the sun per ding. That was a number of years ago and so far, it's holding well. Just look for something like this:



It should be available at any parts store.

Must have made a mistake.. it is 1980. I havent checked the build date and all but it is registered as an 1980.

I have the door weatherstrips for a 4 door in stock. I actually keep them for myself but I don't really need them as my current weatherstrips are still good. I have 2 front doors and rear passenger side (RHD car), I can't source the rear right side though. lmk if you're interested.

Yesterday, I had the car in with my friend..

New Door Locks Installed
Heavy Duty Central Locking Motors
New Door Barrel and Locks
Installed Sony Head Unit and 6" Speakers
Ran new Speaker Wires also.
Tinted the windows to 5%

Starting to look the goods.

The funny thing though as he took the door trim off, he found something in the door cavity, where there was a 6" hole from where speakers should have been.

He sends me the picture asking if it was mine. I told him no, they are too small and I would not leave any left over

Found 2, one front and one rear, but they go to my own restoration project. There´s one front for the hatch model in my catalog but i have to search in the storage rooms to check it is really there. I briefly inspected the storage and did'nt find it yet.
