Accord: Accord - YouTube
A friend wanted to buy it, but I talked him out of it, he's not mechanical enough. The You Tube link was to him.
I'm selling it as the price of having been unable to turn away from a triple mint 03 Audi A4 stick original owner 100k without a scratch. It's going in the garage, right where the Accord has been for, 13 years.
89 SE-i
5 speed
Bilstein's revalved twice until I got it right
Eibach Springs lowered 1"
UCA mounts adjustable to change camber.
Bronze-tinted glass exclusive to 89 SE-i
I'm the second owner, 2001
Mint leather
Original paint mostly
Hellas
JDM corner lights
Everything works, or will once I get a ps hose
Really nice OEM wheels
new tires
245k
Always changed my own oil. Motor fine.
This car was my baby until my wife said I couldn't visit customers in it., and a pickup backed into the RR quarter panel. That and some bricks fell on the hood, so I collected $2600 in insurance on it. I waffled for months whether to fix it up right, but ultimately couldn't pull the trigger.
Some rust in wheel arches. Have new arches that can be welded in.
Bose, Infinity speakers
A/C (Freon 12!) now faint, but worked 3 years ago when I parked it, it's just low.
When I was using the car, it never lacked. Always OEM parts: drive shafts, wheel bearings etc. No weird or clumsy custom touches - the suspension changes were a couple of thou until I got them right. It doesn't pogo stick or crash, just comes back as its supposed to.
Clutch and tranny perfect. No 5th gear weirdness with the tranny.
Extra parts, I don't even remember now: ecu, tail lights etc.
See my recent post https://www.3geez.com/forum/efi-tech/...my-garage.html
I don't want much money for it, probably $1k. What I want, like Mark, is someone who will take care of it.
Located CT near NYC. Can be driven anywhere. It's really fun to drive. I'd keep it forever, because I could never find another, but the garage is space-challenged, and I won't park it outside.
