would it be possible to swap a manni off a '90 accord (f22a1) onto my '87 LXi? can i expect decent gains from this swap?

i was about to say it, but andy beat me to it. well even if ur gonna swap it with some major custom mods, ur not gonna get any noticable gains from it. but yeah, compared to our 3g, that 4g does have a torquy 140ft-lbs at 4K rpm. it does pull like a beast and its fun even in an auto. well, i am done here.

Well I drive one every day, my wifes car. I'm not so dreamy eyed when I climb out of it. My 3rd gen LXI with header and exhaust could out run it. Less weight and better gearing. I drive the 4th gen cause I have to, not cause I love to. Big differance compaired to my 3rd gen.

i own both a 4g and 3g, and I know the 155 hp out of my 4g would allow me to spank my 3g. I love both either way though. sometimes speed isn't everthing.

My distain for my 4th gen has nothing to do with power, it's everything else I can't stand. Yeah I'm sure if I moded the 4th gen it would be nicer. But my 3rd gen was a much better car IMO BEFORE I modded it. With the 4th gen being so far behind I see no point in trying to bring it up with mods. The 5th gen feels night and day better in that regard, IMO. Glad you have good feeling's about your's, I'm not so lucky

Both stick, wasn't easy to find with a 5sp. It has low mileage and was well taken care of by the previous owner, bought it last april. It's a EX btw.

yo jimmy, i was talking about stock 3g and 4g my man. cause when i had my 3g, well before i crashed it, it was all stock and so is my 4g. so comparing them, the 4g pulls right on. the trans is soo sickening good and not a spot of oil in the engine bay. but my 4g is leaking oil even being parked. i think something is really messed up with that.
