om my 87 the key is not needed, I just pull out the inside door opener and push the lock lever to locked and close the door.
my guess is keyless systems will work well if made for the accord

As long as the drivers side door is closed, any keyless entry will lock it.

    Peace out..

Hold the inside lever in the open position while you hit the lock button. Then shut the door. Now its locked

Get an alarm, and buy actuators for it. Once you install those you can have powerlocks with your alarm. Once you arm the alarm your doors luck, as when you unarm your doors unlock. Actuators aren't very expensive.

    Started with a 89 Accord LXI - 96 Acura TL - 2003 Acura CL Type S..

Has anyone out here ever done the shaved door handle look on their accord? I was thinking of doing something different on my car, I was going to put the door handle actuator system on the car, but leave the door handles. That way when I activate the system the handles will pop up like a ghost opened the door. I picked up a couple of massive solonids from a chrysler Broham..They could open the doors on a tractor trailer.

pull the door handle and press the lock button (just dont forget your keys)
    MSD Ignition Control: $330
    B20 Engine: $2000
    NOS System: $750
The look on a cops face when you press the little red button and leave him in the dust: Priceless
There are just some cars that cops cant catch, for eveyone else, theres NOS.
