1986 Honda accord LXI code 6

I bought this thing for a 100 bucks under 150k been sitting 4-5yrs put new gas in it with injector cleaner and a new battery she starts right up but at idle will jump rpmÂ’s above 2k I thought it was a vaccum leak in the master cylinder cause the breaks kept getting air in em replaced it and it stopped for a lil and came back after idling for a while I have videos of the code 6 flashing and video of it idling I have no idea how to attach it
Any help appreciated tryna get this car together so my friend can have some transportation

Code 6 is a problem with the coolant temperature sensor. That's one of the sensors located in the thermostat housing and it's probably got a corded plug. Unplug it and clean the contacts.

When it's not working it causes high idle.

I also wanted to add if yours is a 1986 the fuel injection models were a little different as later models, as far sensors and such so keep that in mind.
