    Question Altenator ?

    Ok im driving down the road an my battery flashes on an off real quick while im up in the 3 rmp's an while i let off the gas or shift the an the rpms are low the light stays on then i'll get the rpms up to around three again an the little will flash ( sometimes go off completly) I check the battery connections an there nice an tight so i know itss not the connection... Im thinking it is the plug that goes into the altenator What do u guys think it is???

    I think it's the alternator.
    Just check the on the battery with engine off ~12V and with engine on and ~14V. Or just go to autozone or some shops that'll do the test for free.

    yea i tested it an its says ~12 when its on so it is basicly running off the battery itself

    check your alternator belt....if ok....probably the brushes

    I agree with Cruznz, its prolly ur alt and the brushes in the alt... just get another before that one stopps working for good
