    2.2 Liter 89 Accord

    i was filling out some info about my car and i saw something that said 89 accord 2.2 liter 160 hp. was there an accord i dont know about?

    Maybe a 2.0 Si version meaning B20A JDM spec. The only 2.2 i have heard of was a custom Vtec swap H22 swap.

    I wish there was a 2.2 stock accord, but even if there was there would not be that many around any more.

    THERE IS A STOCK 2.2
    Over here it the 4th gen. 2.2i it come with 4wheel steer and full leathers, air con, cruise controll. everything in it.
    My uncle used to have a maroon colour one.
    very nice cars. Its the 4th gen shape that it comes in.

    jap-spec accords were always a year ahead of american models. for example, the 3rd gen accord came out in '85 in japan. so the 4th gen with the 2.2L came out in '89 in japan.

    yeah, 87accordlxi is right, they always seem to release everything in japan before they send it to us. that would make it fall under the 4g model, but a 3g year. oh well, i want the TRS (may come to america next year as an acura car, supposed fall right between the TL and the RSX).

    i haven't looked into this at all, but would it be possible to bore our stock engine to be a 2.2L?

    I believe they say its a 1992 ( 4th Gen) and we all know THEY ARE 2.2 Didn't you said that was a 3 gen accord?

    i was reading my super street (old issue) but they make a 2.2 liter type R accord vtec with 212 horse power and sport supension and stuff but 2002 was the last year they are making it :'(

    90-93 accord had the f-series engine, 2.2 liter, i haven't looked at newer ones (94+), but i assume they did as well to
