Thanks guy's for the help... I had a feeling it was 98hp I just wanted to make sure the 86-87 Lx had 98 hp.... does n e 1 know how to boost some more power, whithout NOS, super or Turbo charger, any least expensive mods that I can do to give it a little more than 98hp? Thanks

I dunno the least expensive hp mod ($150 - $300) is a header or cam regrind, cat back exhaust with a cheap performance muffler falls in that price rage too. $350 if you go DC.
get a spare junk yard cam so you don't have more then a day of down time. and pick exhaust diameter based on what you have planned for your car in the future.

next up is the weber conversion. ($350 - $800) depending on what cabs you use and how cheap you can get all the parts.
