    hook = install?

    Installation this meter has been painful. First of all - our car is not listed in "compatible" cars in APEXi Installation Manual. By theory it will be install to wires connected to ECU, i try to found needed wires with Shop Manual and connect to it Meter, but it not working. It's shows to me only Voltage of Electrical Network in car (don't sure what network is good word for this...), then i replace my gauges pod and try to connect wires from Meter to it. I found tach wire, and APEXi is working! But main problem - it's speed wire. In new cars, speed signal generates by Speed Pulser - it's digital pulses, what can be identificated by gauges or ECU to precise speed. But our cars don't have it - it's have oldy speed tranny (don't sure about tranny translate) - and we have Speed Pulser only on cars with Cruise Control. My is haven't. I buy used gauges pod from JDM car (you can see on background it have only 180 km/h speedometer), where is located this shitty Speed Pulser. Then i connect wires from APEXi to it. And it started to work after that!

    So, if you have Cruise Control on your car - it's not big problem to connect APEXi Rev/Speed Meter, just connect it to gauges, not ECU (because it's don't have needed wires).
