Unhappy Where to buy Ball Joints

I recently bought two ball joints from PEP BOYS, but to my surprise, there was no hole for the cotter pin So I returned them and started looking around online. Does anyone know where I can get a good pair of balljoints online for not much green? I looked at NOPI.com but the picture of the balljoint they sell has a stud in the top and in the bottom. Is this the right type of balljoint or am i not supposed to look at the pictures?

Thanks in advance for all of you truly sound advice

I just went to AutoZone like 3 days ago and the ball joint price was 69.99. Does that Include the Control Arm also??? I would think that it does b/c i heard that you can't buy just a new ball joint. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Yes you can't just get the front upper ball joint. The joint and arm is one unit.
However, I've seen the Haynes manual (I think) and they do have the replacable ball joints for the arms. But I haven't seen those here.

don't go buy the pictures on sites like that. they use generic pictures so it's most likely that the one you're seeing isn't even for your car.

Why not? If parts store don't have it, Honda must have it.

This is your answer. However, you're not in the states, so you might have the different upper arm that the ball joint can be pressed out and replaced. *Or you might not, you might have the same arm as we do*
This is just for the upper front ball joints. For all other ball joints, it can be replaced.

can i just pry out the lower ball joint and tighten the new one in? I dont have a second car, so getting it to a shop where they would do that would be hard (i would have to ask a friend).

    ball joints

I'm a mechanic and I won't bug with getting balljoints without the arm also (if possible). Otherwise you have to take your old arm and new ball-joint to a machine shop to have it replaced. Why bother, $70 bucks you can throw it on yourself and it lasts another 200k. I suggest buying th most expensive one from a reputable parts store, not the Zone man.
