So I was just thinking about it, and it seems that one of the major obstacles in lowering a car is the clearance, and added stress on the upper control arms. So, has anyone thought of actually remounting the front upper control arms to a higher point in the strut tower in order to provide a more natural angle for the ball joint, and a better clearance of the arm to the tire?
Is this possible? Is it worth trying? Is it even beneficial in any way?
