    Talking Billet Intake manifold!

I was wondering if anyone has the spacing and width of the intake ports and bolts of our engines (maybe a gasket picture, actual size?) and DCOE intake ports and bolts. I have access to a CAD program, and I might be able to get a shop with a CAD machine to make one. That, or at least I'd be able to have the printout schematic for a shop to look at as they fabricate the manifold.

Just go to an auto parts store and buy a gasket for the intake. They are some thing like $5 and you're going to need it anyway. I don't have a scaner and just typing the numbers in wont really help, but if you pick up a haynes weber tech book it has a diagram of the dcoe flange with measurements. You want the 2 carbs to be spaced about 2 inches apart or so to allow for the linkages.

I'll check that stuff out today! Thanks man! Maybe this could open the door to DCOE conversion kits eh? :lol

That would flat out rock. I believe if the DCOE conversion were made easily available and some others on the board tried it out, then it would be seen as an equal (if not better) choice for power than an upgraded EFI setup.

This is all just going to be trial and error. Might take a month or a year. I can make a simple schematic in a week or so, but getting things made will take much longer.
